Hey y'all!!!! Not my first rodeo here lol!!! I had a successful weight loss journey losing about 50 lbs but gained most of it back due to poor mental health and diet. I stopped taking care of myself and gave up. Now after gaining almost all of it back, I had a wake up call that this isn't the path I want to go down. I would love to share this journey and provide support to anyone who needs so feel free to add me and we can conquer this journey together!!!

Hi Jaimeee, I’m in a similar situation as you. I had lost 65 pounds (yay me!) on MFP but then various events took a toll on my mental health which has taken a toll on my physical health. I gained most of the weight back.
But I’m back! Started in April and I’ve made some big lifestyle changes. I’m committed to focusing on my health and what is best for me.
I’m down 28 pounds so far. It’s going much slower than I’d like but that’s ok. I’m not giving up!

Nice to know that others are pushing through similar struggles. Restarting, not giving up, and learning from mistakes. Thanks for posting, I can relate.

Count me in with the "Same" crowd. Restarting after a several year hiatus where emotional health/life happenings left no room to focus on other things. Getting a scale a month ago and seeing my highest ever weight (more than the end of any of my pregnancies) was a kick in the pants to come back. I probably have about 50 left to lose, though I'm much more of a "how do I feel" vs "number on the scale" person, so we'll see. Right now, neither is great. Current goals are get back into logging food, walk daily, and replace most of my soda with water.

I think most people go through that type rollcoster where you loose weight but start gaining it all back up . So it very normal , if you really want to make change it has to be more of lifestyle changing habits .
