When I was able to exercise and do my walking everyday, I ate 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. Now that I can't exercise or able to get out and walk, I have done away with my 2 snacks. It looks like it might just work out. At this rate, I just might be able to lose at least a pound this week. Time will tell. Either way I got this.

    10/28 154.2 (3.75 move ring spins)
    10/29 152.8 (4.75 move rings closed)
    10/30 152.2 (3 spins)

    11/3 152.6
11-4 to 11-9 no access to scale
11/10 156 (immediately after transcontinental flight)

New goals: 4 “move ring” spins, 15,000 steps, goal weight ultimately 142. Focus this challenge period is simply returning to being active after nine weeks of travel and travel virus.

    11/11 154.8 (6+ spins, 18,000+ steps)
11/12 154.2 sore today after returning to gym and yoga. Water weight. But man! Is it good to be back to routine!

Today is: get those steps, Muscle Madness class, stationary bike, volunteer desk stint, bike to gym, swim laps an hour, bike home, a hot yoga class, and a nice homemade pineapple sorbet with whipped cream and maraschino cherries. 👍🏻

@BeeHives55 the Camino is my goal, too! I had already bought airline tickets and was training with my backpack for my April 2020 Camino. 😩 needless to say, that didn’t get off the ground.

3rd Week Goal- 1 pound loss.
100 day total challenge: 20-25 pounds loss goal total.
3rd Week Focus/ Comments: Continue to prioritize early bed times, consistent water, walking everyday & gym 3x(4th week back in the gym-

    Week 2 starting weight: 166.3
Gain / Loss this week: 1.3
    Total loss 100 day Oct-Feb challenge: -1.9

Week 2 comments: missed two days of weigh ins because I ate before the weigh in- only went to the gym 1x this week( rough week personally had a death in the family)-stuck to early bed times where ever possible, upped calories 100-200 calories some days, logged and ate all within my means all week. Happy with the progress.

    Week 3 let’s go!
    Day 15 11/10-163.8
Day 16 11/11- walked 12 miles Sunday! 🙏weighing end of the week this week instead of daily. Stuck to all nutrition. Didn’t do well with water. We had a wake today and the funeral tomorrow so not much extra time for movement.
Day 17 11/12- no weigh in. Feel tired today!

    @Beehive55

    Welcome : - )

I also am considering Spain for September 2025
Not the Camino though, that is a 35 day hike and I won't have the time off of work. (or the feet left for that sort of endeavour)

    Hi : - )
    I am Dawn.
    5'2"
    64 years old
    Cranbrook, BC, Canada

The most that I have ever lost on one of these 100s is 7lbs.
I am not sure what it is going to take, but I would like to get back to 130 and below.
I started my weight loss journey because my doc threatened to put me on blood pressure medication for the rest of my life. I joined MFP at 198 pounds although I had been heavier than that.
I lost enough weight to chase away high blood pressure, but now the doc is saying that my arthritis in knees, feet, and ankles would benefit greatly by me dropping another 30 pounds. That number used to be 15 pounds, but I have been gaining and gaining these last couple of years.
I am an active person, and eat nutritious food.

    Week 1 Goal: 145.6
Week 1 actual weight: 143.6- Started the week at 146.6

    Week 2 Goal: 143.0
Week 2 actual weight: 144.8 - Started the week at 145.0

    Day 15—11/10— 147.8

Day 16—11/11— 147.4 - I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. As usual I weighed and tracked. Way up from where I want to be : - (

Day 17—11/12— 147.8 - Banner day, I was hoping to see a drop tomorrow, but there is a possibility that I am going out for dinner with a friend tonight. Restaurant for me always equals 3lb gain. We'll see.

    Day 18—11/13—

    Day 19—11/14—

    Day 20—11/15—

    Day 21—11/16—

My Name is Donna, Age 64. I am 5’5” tall & I live in Northern Michigan USA
Starting Weight from End of Last Challenge: : 191.6
    Goal This Round: 178.6
    Challenge Actual Ending Weight: xxxxx
    Total Lost/Gained this challenge: xxxxx

    Previous Rounds Tally & Thoughts:
I am Sick and Tired of being Sick and Tired. I mean, I am LITERALLY both Sick with many ailments and Tired of putting myself through this back & forth! I weighed 181.6 on January 1st, 2024. This has not been a good year for me. How much progress I can make in November, December and January is very very questionable, at the very least. Those months are riddled with holidays, baking pies and cakes, making cookies and fudge. Lots of decadent dishes high in calories and carbs. And lots of shopping excursions away from home which always include restaurants and long car rides. So many celebrations including multiple family birthdays as well! These are the hardest months of the year for most of us. But I’m not throwing in the towel just yet!. I will do ALL I can, As I can, When I can. Life is going to happen and I will definitely live it, but there are lots of days where progress can still be made and/or damages can be mitigated. I must stay steadfast and strong in my resolve. This is about my health journey, not just my weight journey. I will not give up based on what month the calendar page is on!

    Day 15-11/10-190.0-(Trend weight 191.6)

Day 16-11/11-190.0-(Trend weight 191.4) The scale didn’t budge but at least the trend weight is still going down. I was really hoping to dip back down into the 180’s this morning after having such a good day yesterday. Humph! I will take any wins that come my way I suppose. I must stay buckled down as I approach the coming holidays!

Day 17-11/12-191.2-(Trend weight 191.4) Self-Sabotage at it’s not-so-finest. I was at 190.0 yesterday and I wish that I had just been 0.1 lb less so that I was into the 180’s. Honestly this probably would not have happened. Yes, the pressure would have been off. It’s okay, I’ve lost this pound before and I can do it again. I just hope it’s not again AND again AND again.

    Good Afternoon, everyone!

@BeeHives55 - Good luck with your weight loss....YOU CAN DO IT!
@deepwoodslady my weight is up a little, too. It happens. We will both get it off!

Day 15—11/10— 178 - My body is still in a holding pattern. But things should be moving along this week. Will get some time on the stationary bike today.

Day 16—11/11— 178 - Made a pot of Lasagna Alfredo soup yesterday....it is delicious! Plenty leftover for future meals. Dr's appointment later today. Scale staying the same....and that's ok!

Day 17—11/12— 178.6 - Saw an allergist today. Wants me to cut out red meat for a week....after I finish the sausage alfredo lasagna soup...lol! We'll see what happens.

    Day 18—11/13—

    Day 19—11/14—

    Day 20—11/15—

    Day 21—11/16—

    Week 3 Goal: 177

@brittanynotaroberta I'm sorry for your loss.

@Crochetluvr Lasagna alfredo soup sounds so good! Do you have a recipe?

@BeeHives55 and @springlering62 The Camino sounds tough! What a goal! I don't think my feet could handle it.

@deepwoodslady I know what you mean about losing the same pound again and again and again. haha

Welcome to everyone that is new here!
