Back at MFP

I'm SunnySue68 and back I'm going to be 56 next month November.I am at my wits end I dislike the word diet it's a 4 letter bad word
To make a long story short my health is not so well.losts of doctor appointments and findings what is wrong with me.
Need help and suport

    Nothing is wrong with you. I would suggest a mind shift change from diet to lifestyle change. A diet suggests something temporary for quick weight loss. A lifestyle change implies you are in it for life for long term success to improve health in addition to weight loss. I would suggest trying few small habit( lifestyle ) changes and keep adding to those each week or so. Examples to consider but need to customize to your needs: cut out sugary drinks, greatly reduce processed foods, increase lean protein, look at how much snacking you are doing and decrease or eliminate it, walk more, park further away when going to stores. Try to be honest and diligent when weighing, measuring foods for calorie tracking.
    You should consider finding one or two habits to change and keep adding. Change is never easy but breaking it up into doable pieces may be easier to maintain.
