I seem to always be testing myself. Can I intermittent fast today? Can I go another day without shampoo and still be presentableπ ? How long can this place go before I actually turn on the vacuum? I might not be a messy person, but gaah, that vacuum? I just dislike doing it! Crazy though I did turn the blasted thing on, and just dust everywhere on the *kitten* brown/gray carpet filled the canister up. I cannot (or will not) do the whole place in one go. So yesterday I did upstairs which is 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 closets. Then washed the inner workings of the vacuum, so heck I can't use it today for the downstairs, because its still drying. My excuse really. So in my mind, I am quite awful at anything routine relatedππ.

vacuuming is one chore I don't have to do because dh is obsessed, seriously OBSESSED with vacuuming- He has 4 lined up in the hall way plus others around. He vacuums daily, including with the regular ones(all cordless), hand held and the little Ryobi that he uses in the catios and in my bathroom because of the litter boxes. The only chore that man does. It is great EXCEPT for when he decides to use on after I have gone to bed or when he gets home from work after graveyard shift and uses one before I am even out of bed.
He doesn't do that as much as he used to and when he does, at least he closes the door so it isn't as loud-

Oh geesh!π. Well better than mine as I don't think he has run our vacuum since I got it in 2019! Its so lightweight and parts come apart to rinse it. I do get a thrill when I click the release button on the bottom, over the garbage can and thruuumph, the dirt goes in the can. For some reason that just gives me joy.ππ

Got home from my doings yesterday, curled up on the couch after I ate some lunch, and was out for nearly three hours! Kinda wrecked my night's sleep tonight, but that's OK. I'll be headed back to bed shortly, I think.
Heather - The cruise looks wonderful. So did the art from all of you!
Tracey - It makes me so happy to see you posting how positive things are at your new job. You so deserve that appreciation.
I realized a couple things about that jacket I bought earlier - I seldom buy new clothes, and when I do, they're usually just more of the same. I am not a clothes horse now and I never was. But I was really delighted with the new jacket, not just for the price, but for the color and the fit. So I took a picture. One more sign of feeling better, too, I think. I feel as if I'm coming back to life in a lot of ways.
Later, my dears,
Love,

Its a great jacket, and better yet, it looks great on you! Its your color! I bought a fuzzy white sweatshirt jacket, with a cool hood that has the ramen shop logo on it. Sadly it just doesn't fit the sides of me. Its great in arms, chest, head, but its a 2X and the sides are long and snug. I have never had this happen to me, so not quite sure how to solve it. Thinking of just opening the sides, and just sewing under. I can't return it because I took off tags, and don't have the bag anymore.

And just like that, we went from mild autumn temps to 8 inches of snow. Leash-loving cat is not happy.

I don't like that white yucky stuff!! Here in Connecticut its 75 degrees
The kiddos today..
I slept horrible last night,so today has been a rest day.. ive been working on the kids Christmas presents, Tracy has lists on Amazon..so thats easy..
Carmine, likes collecting trinkets and thrifting. Shades of her great grandmother lol.. so for her im guessing a visa gift card so she can thrift and trinket away.. she is seeing a counselor 1 on 1 and they all went out for Kyles Birthday and she was opening up a bit and was thinking about getting a job.. so there is hope..
Kyle really hurt Tracys feelings this past weekend.. but she knows how he is.. He has severe bipolar tendencies and he said that he didn't want anymore kids after Carmine.. and he is financially responsible but doesn't want anything to do with them, because the poor kid wakes up grumpy,Miles and is fussy and it sets off the baby so then there are 2 of them going off,and then that sends Kyle over the edge and poor Tracy is left to deal with it all..Bless her heart..
She knew what she was getting into..but honestly the guy should be on meds.. it would be sooooo much easier.
Ive had about 350 calories today..but not all that hungry..we shall see..7 -

@dlfk202000 have you considered investing in a robot vacuum. I have one with a self emptying tower. It cost under $90. It has been one of the best things I've ever gotten. Yes it gets itself stuck from time to time, but I happily rescue it. Lol
haha- he has a couple of those too. Always looking to upgrade but keeping the others because they work perfectly.
The other thing he does the same with is 3D printers. He did give one away to a co-worker that was interested in starting out. Dh doesn't really have room for more but that didn't stop him from ordering the newest style(prints in a circle)4 -

If it is from a Ramen shop, I am assuming it is from China/Japan/etc. Their clothes tend to run smaller than usual and a lot smaller around the middle. At most, I wear a XL but in bathing suit I bought online from an Asian company, had to get a 4X and that was snug- no room for hips or boobs in it.3 -

Rori: I love the snow! So great that you are doing such fun things!
Machka: Great about the exercise!
Lisa: I love the afghan and the jacket!
Penny: Down 11 pounds! That is terrific!
Debbie: I hope the shows go well!
Barbie: I am thinking about Jake and hope he is well. Glad he is home!
Heather: Glad you got the socks! I hope your brother is comfortable!
Ginny: I hope all is okay with your Thyroid!
RVRita: Sad about Jim. And what a position you were put in having to tell people.
Kim: I hope your housemate gets settled.
Annie: I hope the diverticulitis settles down.
Lanette: So cute! A Halloween baby!
Evie: Sorry about the passings in your family! The reunion in Sept sounds good though!
Allie: Congrats on the weight loss!
Pipcd34: I hope your husband is okay. Sorry about the run!
Rebecca: Glad you were able to speak with your son!
Terri: Glad the book launch went well!
Busy here...up to the point I have energy for anyway. The new puppy, Casper has been neutered and is a joy. He is very sweet! My son and daughter in law live here now. I have been to their house several times. I have not lost weight and was diagnosed as pre-diabetic so I am going to try the compounded weight loss drugs until they take them off the market...which could be any time...I certainly won't be able to take the regular Ozempic and so forth!
I had some food from Factor delivered. It is a meal plan company. The meals are good and I am eating more vegetables...but I really don't eat the meat so probably is not a good financial decision for me. I am not a vegetarian. I just
don't like meat.
I am planning a trip in April with a high school friend. She doesn't want to stay in Air Bnbs which is what I have had good luck with. She wants to stay some place memorable and she wants views. She doesn't mind if we share a room. 6 nights. I wonder if I am up to it. We would go to Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Savannah. The Myrtle Beach would be through a time share offer. My family usually would go away for 3 nights. To save money and because after 3 nights I am ready to be
home.
And all these meals out seems expensive and tiring. I really have not traveled with a girl friend since the 80s. She has a lot of enthusiasm so this is helpful. Will see how this goes. I really am past thinking any particular hotel is memorable...but maybe I need an attitude adjustment!
She is willing to put more money into this than me. But if she wants to vacation this
way, I will let her put the money in. These 4 and 5 star hotels don't have breakfast buffets. Some don't even have a pool. We both would use a pool. I could be at the Marriott Courtyard in my own room! And be happier.
I found a hotel I liked a town over from Charleston...very reasonable with a nice pool...but she wants to stay right in the historical district. I am past that as well. I will adjust my attitude! I know it will be fun!
Best,
Rosemarie from Georgia

I received a call from the dietician at Factor. I explained the meals were very good but that I wasn't eating the meat. She named about 3 other companies to try. She didn't try to get me to stay with Factor. She says Factor is doing a million meals a week. I wonder if that is accurate. I didn't realize these meal companies had grown so popular. I am going to try a company that has more vegetarian meals.

M β congratulations!
Pip β Iβm glad Kirby is OK. Those bruises looked terrible. So glad to hear Yogi is better
Penny β welcome! Yea for the weight loss!
Lisa β just drizzling here. What a bargain hunter you are
Rita β those people running the campground are works of art
Heather β your cruise sounds heavenly. Canβt wait to take it with you. Glad to hear about your brother
Allie β our homeowners fee at the condo is going up $70. Loving all the pictures. I canβt get over it β people in CA are earning $20 an hour and Iβll get a 2.5% increase in my SS!
Mo β there was this guy on Vinceβs bowling team (actually, for two seasons). He was a nice guy (I thought), a bit on the talkative side but I figured that was loneliness. He always talked about stereos and things like that. Then one day I come to bowling and someone says to me βdid you hear about R?β. Seems he was arrested by the feds. He was going to the Philippines and having sex with underaged girls then bringing them back to the US to sell. I would never in my life have thought of that. He got something like 8 to 22. You certainly had an interesting weekend!
Lanette β I usually plan what weβre going to have for dinner the following week on Tues (that day just works for me). Many times our dinners are based on whatβs in the freezer.
Rosemarie β Iβm like you, I love my vegetables but have a little bit of meat. I just think I need even a bit for the protein and iron. Most of my plate is vegetables. And usually fruit for dessert
Things have been VERY hectic with having Jessβ kitten, her cat, and dog. I usually get up, the cats know the routine (even Jessβ kitten), that I go in the bathroom, close the door so I can open the door to the closet, then when I can close that door I open the door to the bathroom and they run in and start playing. I then feed them, take the dog out just to relieve himself, put him back in his crate, pick up the cat dishes because Jess doesnβt give her kitten moist food (I suggested to Vince that we just eliminate the moist food or I give it to them only in the a.m. but he doesnβt want to do that. Says the cats need the moisture. I just told him that itβs not forever, only a few days. Theyβll be fine. Oh wellβ¦..
then I go to work. When I come home, maybe have a piece of cheese, Ganon and I go for our first walk around the block. I swear, I wouldnβt be surprised if he runs out of pee, he marks everythingβ¦.lol
Bring him home, do what I need to do (usually thatβs eating breakfast).
Went to the MD the other day for my annual visit. Blood work came back fine, chol is 133, Glucose is 91. I am due for a tetanus shot, itβs been 10 years since I had one. But it does seem that I lost 1β (boo). He told me to go to CVS for the shot, insurance won't pay for it at the MD office but will pay at CVS. When I told him I couldn't get the RSV vaccine since I wasn't 75 and didn't have any of the conditions that can cause a sever reaction, they couldn't give it to me, they had to follow the CDC guidelines. He didn't realize that you had to be 75, that they only give it to you if you are between 60 and 75 if you have one of the risk factors (which I don't)
I have been having this pain in the lower back for years. I mentioned it to him years ago and he said to me βif thatβs the only pain you have, youβre doing wellβ. Well, I still have it. It doesnβt keep me from doing things. I did do that dreaded thing and consulted Dr. Google. Kidney problems β nope, liver problems β nope. One thing that was mentioned was arthritis. I wouldnβt be surprised if it was. The other day it was hurting and I took an Aleve. It wasnβt hurting anywhere near like before. He did suggest I see a chiropractor. I donβt know why Iβm seeming to hesitate.
Jessβ kitten is now sleeping with us. I suspect he is going to miss having other kittens to play with. The cat plays but not as much. Lately, sheβs been staying in the back bedroom. I think itβs more that the kittens are just very active and sheβs not. But sheβs still lovable.
Take Ganon for another walk around the block usually in the afternoon. Come home and give him dinner when we have dinner. Then right before bed I take him out again and we just walk around the cul-de-sac.
Then I usually get ready for the next day.
Speaking of BK β theyβre in a tizzy because the big wig at BK (heβs like their Health Dept) is going to be here sometime before the 15th. So theyβve been having me work on Wednesdays. I guess they just want everything perfect, to have all the prep. Well, I donβt mind helping out. But to be honest, this working 6 days (even tho weβre only talking about 3 hours/day) is getting to be a bit much. Probably because Iβm not totally used to it. I wonder what theyβre going to do after he comes. At the meeting they mentioned that they wonβt know any more when heβs coming. To me, this is the way it should be, always be on your toes, not just when the big wig is coming. But who knows if thatβs the fact?
Jess should be back from her conference tomorrow. She has a dentist appt. at noon here but sheβs not sure if sheβs coming Thurs night or Fri morning. Iβm betting Fri morning since I think theyβre due to get in from TN at around 9pm
I did make a casserole for her. I made some banana bread for Colby, but Iβm not crazy about how it came out. Not sure if Iβm going to give it to her or not.
Starting to get things ready for thanksgiving. Weβre having it here this year since Jess is on call Christmas (which is when we usually have it here.)
I think I posted the pic of the ex-Halloween tree. I know Vince felt bad that we wonβt have any trees upstairs so I got this tree for him.
Been trying to get stockings (at a decent price for decent quality). Now Iβll take them to a friend of mine to have the names put on. Need to call her, just got the last 2 stockings today.
Better post this.

I used to love vacuuming and cleaning on a regular basis. I get so lazy now. Itβs funny if I do clean Rodger asks me what heβs done, because I used to love a good mad clean. π
Machka - I guess a break isnβt helpful. Hopefully it all gets caught up soon.
Bedroom - None of that stuff. I do need to declutter in there but itβs mostly stuff I donβt know what to do with, but also donβt want to get rid of. Like furniture. Also, this time of year the Christmas gift collection has started so thatβs bugging me.
Closet - I go through my clothes every season. I have a very tiny closet that I share so there is no room for extras. Drawers are the same I go through it too. Iβve never owned hats or scarves.
Bathroom - I need to go through that again, itβs been a while.
Kitchen- I do need to go through to check outdated food. Itβs been a few months.
I donβt have a freezer or office. My craft room Iβm working on though.
Lisa - I love that coat.
Heather - what a relief to hear from your brother.
Penny - I have heard others complain about beef and greasy foods after gallbladder surgery. I still have mine so no personal experience.
Allie - I remember after you were done at the dental clinic you looking after Jeanβs mom and her bullying you.
Kyle sure knows how to cut deep.
Rori - we had snow yesterday morning but itβs all melted now. Supposed to be +12 tomorrow.
I debated and debated on posting this last night, and realized that the story could be about anything and we would all be aghast. Iβll put it in a spoiler.we have a resident that doesnβt believe that there is anything wrong with him. He is inappropriate and difficult in numerous ways.
Yesterday the men at the table were talking about what they thought would happen in your election.
He says, βwell heβs a businessman, you put a woman in there and thereβs just going to be too much chatter to get anything doneβ. I thought we had moved past that mentality. He is younger than my Dad when he passed and my Dad never thought that way thankfully!
I got my flu shot today. I have been waiting for the announcement that they were doing them, but unlike my previous home they donβt schedule it the same way. My arm is a bit sore tonight, Iβm sure it will be fine by morning.
Rodger has burned 40 ornaments the last couple of days. I will be doing a lot of painting this weekend.
Michele - when will you have all of your decorating complete?
Iβm off to bed. This time change is kicking my butt this week.

Lisa: That colour jacket suits you.
Debbie: DH has a thing about cleaning gadgets. It suits me because if he buys a gadget, then it becomes his job π
Apart from weekly shopping yesterday, I have been having two active rest days, ie, no scheduled activities. This morning I will do my Latin prep, then go to Shakespeare after lunch. Tomorrow itβs Latin am, then card making after lunch. Weβre starting on our Christmas cards.
I missed doing my October review. I seem to be over my temporary energy sag from the beginning of October. And I finally dropped back down into my maintenance range after all our βsummerβ celebrations. Planning to work on dropping a couple more lbs to allow me wriggle room for the December bun fest.
We have had a run of dull, grey, dismal days, although itβs unseasonably warm as the damp is coming up from the south. Most of the autumn colour is already lying on the ground.
Here are a couple of my recent sketches. The bird is a phoenix. The landscape is The Millennium Monument with the Mourne Mountains in the background. The megalith was quarried there and the rock was erected in the year 2000 in Delamont Country Park near Downpatrick.

Scarves have been in fashion here since I moved to Australia in 2009, and probably before. Many buildings are not well insulated so they become quite cool in winter. I have a collection of scarves I used to wear, but in 2016, I became hot and haven't worn scarves, pullovers, or heavy socks since.
I keep my scarves hanging on a coat rack along with some handbags.Has anyone else here had thier gallbladder removed find that beef stalls thier weight loss?
Additionally I didn't reveal to y'all before that I am recovering from a torn Achilles. It makes excercise painful and infrequent. I am hoping to see a physical therapist soon. The weight keeps reinjuring it. I am over 300 pounds.

For me, the memorable places are rarely hotels.
Memorable places are:
- the log cabins in the mountains,
- the huge converted barn,
- the basic little hotel in Taiwan with the lovely lady who ran the place,
- the Japanese hostel where we slept, ate, etc. on the floor,
- the fascinating B&Bs and pub hotels throughout the UK,
- the converted army base in Utricht,
- the gorgeous little in on the Rhine with a balcony and air conditioning! (it was very hot there)
- the wonderful hostel in Switzerland with very few other guests
- the fabulous cabin on the west coast of France
I could go on ... but chain hotels don't stand out to me. If someone told me they wanted to stay some place memorable, I'd be looking for something quirky! Maybe a yurt!

John is out for lunch today, with his cricket friend. They are meeting at a halfway point, at a pub. I have a few hours to watch stuff I recorded, but is not John's thing.
I think I might have porridge for lunch. I adore it, but rarely have it. I like it with salt and cold butter.
This morning I finished off the GF Christmas Pudding. I had it all wrapped up, in the saucepan for steaming, when I realised I had forgotten to put the GF suet in it. So I had to get it out, unwrap it, and stir the suet in. Caught it just in time! Loads of washing up! I was knackered by the time I finished.

Good morning beautiful ladies!
Lisa what a pretty jacket!
Rosemarie thank you. A new puppy! How exciting!
Terri I love the colors in the phoenix. You really made it shine!
I think I missed some, hugs to all of you, my friends. I'm just feeling off today.
I have a couple beautiful scarves from my fiber art days. But I don't wear them. I just bought a purple Paisley scarf to go with my fall jacket, which is a lavender hoodie with Sherpa lining. But I never go anywhere where anyone cares what I look like. Most of my trips are dropping Dad at the senior center and picking him up, or Starbucks runs. But at least now that I dropped twelve pounds being sick, my size large clothes aren't so tight.
I'm still avoiding fiber to rest my gut. It's an odd way of eating and I haven't found good substitutions for my normal diet. Plus the Halloween candy! I'm not exercising yet. I feel like a lump, which is when I start to think about exercise. Maybe some yoga.
I read the perfect little fluffy cute no-conflict romance, so now I'm ready for a brutal gruesome murder mystery. I enjoy them more when I alternate.
My group of old military friends is talking about getting together again next year. I probably won't go because of my dad. But who knows what will happen. I just hesitate to put down a deposit.
Dad is obsessed with cleaning up the leaves. But he also has a new puzzle.
Have a great day! May you be happy, healthy, safe, and free!

Hello, all...
Had to drag myself through the day yesterday, when I desperately wanted to take a nap, but because I held out, was able to sleep through the night last night, and that left me feeling a bit better.
Rosemarie - It's good to see you! Hope you have a wonderful trip with your friend. You are much more patient and accommodating than I ever was or ever will be. I can't give that kind of control to other people - it's just no longer in my nature.
Rori - The snow just looks cold and wet to me! Don't miss that part of the eight years I spent in Montana. We usually get one snow in January here, and that's more than enough. We're in the 70s all the next two weeks and sunny. If your friend wants to get some golf in while you're together, y'all may need to fly south! π₯°
Tracey - Not offensive, and in the end, not political - just an overall outlook from his generation that is so outdated as to be nearly funny. I did love the Facebook reel. Food used to be a drug for me. I would walk in a restaurant down, depressed, quiet, and a few bites of good food, I'd be talkative, happy, and smiling. I've had servers comment on my change after a meal, it was that dramatic. It became much less stark after I had my hysterectomy, oddly enough. It was like food was tied directly to my uterus. Very odd! πππ«€
Penny in TX - Had my gall bladder out nearly 20 years ago now, and it didn't seem to affect my weight loss or gain one way the other. Not sure why it would. Sorry about the Achilles tendon, I ruptured one last century and it was painful as all get out. You can definitely work around it, though - do you have it in a stabilizing boot?
Machka - It has definitely been a crazy busy year for you.
Terri - Love the sketches - are they with alcohol marker?
Heather - Just putting suet out for my birds later, but I doubt it's the same kind! ππ₯°
Annie - I started putting earrings in and brushing my hair even when I'm staying home - I do it for me. The better I look, the better I feel. Put on the scarf, put on the nice sweater! Even if you're not going anywhere. π I don't wear makeup, and that's genuinely all I do to "gussy myself up," but it really does make a difference in how I feel. Glad for you for the weight loss, but not a good way to lose it!
Finishing up a few chores, and back to my bag-building. Was pulling one apart for the umpty-umpth time yesterday, and got disgusted and just began again from scratch. πΆπ«€π Sometimes, I'm just going the wrong direction. Did dream of a way to fix future ones where I'm embedding paintings, but not sure I can fix the ones I'm working with right now. Frustrating, but creation isn't always pretty and definitely isn't always a straight line.
Thanks for the compliments on the jacket, everyone. I'm wearing it this morning, and it's definitely lifting my spirits. Will have to take it off if I do any painting! The last hoodie I bought, I got yellow paint on the very first time I wore it. It's now in the "donate" box. I wore it for seven years, that's enough - and if something comes in now, I try to make sure something goes out.
Pizza for dinner - need to get my no-knead focaccia dough going so it can rise and then pre-bake before dinner. Super easy to make, and makes enough for two dinners, as I freeze half the crusts after they're par-baked. I think I'll add some Italian herbs to this batch.
Well I've lost half this post twice, and I'm going to get it posted before I lose it again. The first time, it was Egg, the second time, it was me. Don't remember who asked if she would move from one place to another with my changes, and the answer is - she's not sleeping on the new wireless keyboard, but she does walk on it. She's very aware of how to get my attention, and has no scruples whatsoever about doing so. πΉππ₯°

Lisa ~ You look tiny, tiny in your new purple jacket. It looks great on you.
Terri ~ Your sketches are very good...especially the phoenix. You are one busy lady with all your interests and know that keeps you young.
Heather ~ Your Christmas pudding sounds like our old fashioned fruit cake. Haven't made one in a few years.

After work today ...
I put together a unit for my colouring pens. I looked and looked and looked, but I've finally found something that might work. Now I just need to move my pens into it.
Then I put together a fold up hanging rack to replace "the chair" in the bedroom. I'd like the chair to migrate to another room. The new fold-up hanging rack is bigger than I expected it would be and I'm trying to decide if that's OK.
And then I pretty much finished going through old medication. Unfortunately, I hoarded a bit when I lived in the middle of nowhere Victoria, Australia because it was hard to get anything there and everything was expensive. Now it's all set to go to the pharmacy collection place. I suspect there may still be a bit of this or that (panadol, ibuprofen) around in the bottom of coat pockets or handbags I haven't looked in recently, but I'll find that later when I've unearthed my coats and handbags.
It's midnight now, so I'd better think about going to bed.

Good morning gang!
Lisa - cute jacket, great color for you. What a find! I picked up a nice jacket at Walmart on the sale rack several years ago - it was marked as a medium but was actually a large, maybe that's why it never sold. They were practically giving it away. It's one of my favorites too.
Penny - gall bladder removal ten years ago, and initially beef was hard for me to digest. But these days, beef and all types of meat comprise a large part of what I eat since I'm increasing protein decreasing carbs a bit on my diabetes prevention diet. It all digests great and really helps keep me full longer.
Michele - great job on your labs. The other day I was looking through my labs, my fasting glucose has been between 100 and 110 for decades, even when my A1C was 5.2. I'm guessing it was the "dawn phenomenon" where the liver starts kicking out glucose in anticipation of needing energy to start the day.
You have me thinking about getting a Christmas tree now. I recall Debbie picked up one or two last year at a great price. This is probably the time to start looking.
My current laptop here is acting funny again, I'm guessing it might be nearing the end. 4 years old now. So looking for another backup to have onhand.
Have any of you used a Chromebook which uses the Chrome OS? Walmart has them for a good price. I mainly want something to run my Excel budget spreadsheets, access some Word documents and of course a few websites, some social media and YouTube. I don't do anything too fancy. Input appreciated.

Hi, Lanette.
I use a chromebook at work to teach class. I think it works great. It's not the same as an actual computer, but for the functions you are talking about, I think it should be fine. Because I use it for class, I primarily use it to project my slides (Art History!) and access my campus email and learning management system. Sometimes showing youtube videos. All class related activities.
We are 35 this morning. I was a little shocked. I didn't expect that much cold after being in the low 60s yesterday evening.

Lanette - I picked up a used Chromebook through Walmart's 3rd-party vendor for $52, just to use for YouTube in my craft room - but I also use it for YT music, with my bluetooth speaker, and if I don't feel like getting on my main laptop, I use it to read and write here on MFP. No idea if it will work with Excel, but supposedly you can access can: https://highland.edu/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/How-to-install-and-run-Microsoft-Office-on-a-Chromebook.pdf The built-in virus checker is also very robust, little need for paid virus programs. My old wireless mouse worked on it just fine, as well. I'd buy it again.2

@Lanette before buying the Chromebook, are you installing Office or using the online version? Consider how you are going to save your documents, etc. I used a Chromebook when I was sub-teaching and it was great but didnβt have much space to save anything. You really couldnβt install anything or save anything on it. You had to use the Google cloud. The ones the school had did not have any USB slots or slots of any kind to attach external drives too. Please consider space you need on the Chromebook itself and how/where you will store pictures, documents, etc. This laptop is great for cruising the internet and using the cloud. Just my experience. There could be others with drive space out there. Never really looked at any other than the ones the school used.
