Hello,
My name is Stephanie. I am 30 yrs young and I have always had trouble with losing weight. I want to come here and brag on my achievement of my weight please don’t judge. The heaviest I have been is 265lbs on May 2024. I currently weigh 235lbs Nov 2024. I am so proud of myself and I still have a long way to go for my goal of 180lbs. So many things has happened in my life and I finally got to focus on my physical and mental health. At first it is VERY HARD. It is something that one has to really commit and dedicate.
What has really worked for me is meal prepping of low calorie high volume meals. The meals keep me full and it doesn’t break the daily calorie bank.
For example:
My current daily calorie intake is 2,100
My Breakfast is always the same: 265kcal
*Yogurt Vanilla 90cal 14gProtein
*Strawberries
*Blueberries
*Oatmeal 75cal (1/4 cup)
*Milk 1/4cup
Lunch: 400-600cals
Dinner: 400-600cals
Maybe snacks
Sometimes I don’t meet the daily calorie goal which I think is okay because I am training my body to not eat a lot like I used to.
It is hard because at work my coworkers eat junk food and of course who doesn’t love junk food. I do have my cheat days which is Saturday and Sunday, you don’t have to go crazy just get what you crave so you don’t feel too guilty. Then you get right back to it with your meals prepped from Sunday for the week. Again, IT IS VERY HARD. But very worth it. At first I was working out but recently I was not able to this past month and still lost 3 lbs. So it goes to show that calorie deficit is KEY. I now focus on my meals, something easy and quick to make and within the calorie deficit. I find my meals in Instagram and TikTok which helps me stay motivated for new and different meals every week.
I weigh myself every 5 weeks and set my goal for at least 3-5 lbs. At first it was hard to concept that losing ANY amount of weight is a good accomplishment. So I try not to get discouraged if I don’t lose 5lbs but like I said it’s better than nothing or gaining weight.
My family gave me compliments with my weight loss which boosts my confidence and my motivation. My clothes do look better and feel a bit looser.
Just need to stay positive, stay meal prepping, try to workout and move forward and to not give up.
My journey is not done yet.
If you need help or advice, respond here I’ll do the best I can.
Thank you for hearing me out.

Yes girlie!!! It will work. Just got to stay consistent and focused because it is easy to lose focus but just need to stay on track. The meals that you’ve prepped on Sunday for the week will help you stay focused, count your calories for the best of your knowledge. Trust me that you can do it!
I’m here if you need help or someone to talk to about it because I am new to this and we doing this journey together. 😊0 -

I also felt the same just nervousness because some people don’t want to see you succeed or I don’t want to hear anyone say something condescending. But oh well, I know what I’m doing is working and have to stay focused and positive and that’s all there is to it.0 -

Thank you very much! Yes it was very difficult to get where I am now but I have a long way to go.
I have some more ideas if you need some or if you have some for me would be great too lol
This week for lunch is salads that contain:
2 handful of spinach
1 1/2 cup of romaine lettuce
1 handful of English cucumber
1 cup of chicken breast
2 tbsp of fat free ranch
Dinner
Serves 4 servings
2 turkey kelibasa
2-3 bell peppers
1/2 an onion
2 zucchini
Approximately 410 calories
Sorry if it’s too much, I enjoy speaking about this.
Thanks again for reading my post0 -

I have always struggled like that. What is your goal?
You need to set a goal first, doesn’t have to be big maybe 3-5 lbs in a month. Then need to prep your meals, got to look up meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) that you will like to eat for a week straight and if you can incorporate a workout.
Walking works or running or anything that makes you move your body for 30 mins.
and NO JUNK FOOD.
You can cave into your cravings in the weekend because you will get right back to it on Monday with your meals prepped from Sunday.
Easier said than done but just little things like that it will help you eat healthier and once you make it habit, you will see that you won’t crave too much junk food as before and you’ll want to choose healthier options when you go out to eat.
I hope this helped, if it’s easier you can message me too. Always here to help
I’m not perfect but I’m trying my best with the like I got.0 -

I don’t think it was intended as a hijack. I think @Iuliaxna09 was asking advice from someone we were congratulating for their loss.
As an aside, someone can’t message you unless they send a friend request first, and you accept it. (Or vice versa. But you have to be friends.)
MFP blocked messages between users ages ago unless members follow this protocol. We have the Great Pornbot Invasion of 2020 to thank for that. Fun times. *sigh*1
