My sisters told me about this a long time ago. I am Elizabeth. I am 57 and in a nursing home. I have had immobility problems, I was 330 pounds but now down to 250, 5 feet 2 inches tall. So I need to lose 110 pounds.I have no say so in my food, all I can do is eat a half plate here. They serve mostly junk. But if I eat small portions I lose, I lost 7 oundsthis month. Thought Id check out this place , I like to debate diet topics.

Wow, Elizabeth, you've done really well in challenging circumstances: Congratulations! Seven pounds in a month is a great rate. (We need a certain amount of nutrition to maintain health, so cutting too far, too fast can be counterproductive.) And you've lost 80 pounds already: Amazing!

I hope you'll hang around here and participate in posts/threads here in the Community. Your commitment and persistence are a great example, and I'm betting you can encourage others who are in difficult circumstances that improvements are possible.

I'm wishing you continuing success, and absolutely would bet that you'll achieve it, given your track record!
