If I'm correctly understanding what you want to do, I don't know how to do it on the phone/tablet app, if it's even possible there. It's possible on the web browser version of MFP, and you should be able to log in there are do it even if you usually use the phone/tablet app.
On the web browser version, click on the tab and sub-tab that are circled in the screen grab below. Find the exercise, and click on it. That will display the page shown, including a Delete button.
