App. consistently showing incorrect goal values (images inside)

Hi all, this is quite an odd one.

I have set my goals as per the attached, however on a daily basis the app. is displaying incorrect values (also attached)

As an example i have set my protein goal to 240g, however the macros tab shows this as 257g, the same with carbs and fats too, am i missing something?

This is because you've added exercise to your diary (I checked). No issue here.

Because your daily calorie goal already accounts for your intent to gain or lose weight at a particular rate, you can achieve your goal by eating the specified number of calories per day, with no additional exercise required.

If you add exercise, then your daily calorie goal will increase for the day, to stabilize your weight loss or weight gain at the rate you initially specified.

The calories added to your daily goal are divided among the various nutrients such as fat, carbs, and protein, which is why these increase when you log calories from exercise.

You would either need to unlink those partner apps and not log exercise, or alternatively if you're a MyFitnessPal Premium subscriber, you can opt to turn off exercise calories via More/Menu >> Goals >> Exercise calories "off".

Ok, that's interesting, how do i stop the app from counting my exercise, do i need to de-link from third party apps, in my case Samsung health etc?
