Here we go.... again!

Hello everyone. NEED to drop some poundage. Diabetes is my biggest fear. It is everywhere. Of course, there is also high cholesterol, acute coronary disease and a list of other disease I do not care to claim. So, here we go. Hope to claim a healthier me soon.     Make a sustainable plan, avoid extremes, stick with it, and you can get healthier and stay there.

    While I never had diabetes, I did have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and went through a type of cancer that's more common among overweight/obese people. Part way through weight loss, my high cholesterol and blood pressure normalized, both have stayed solidly normal for 8+ years since at a healthy weight, and I'm 24 years past treatment for that fairly advanced stage of cancer, with no evidence so far of recurrence.

    I'm cheering for you to succeed - the results are worth the effort!
