Hi

Hi, my nickname is Rocky. I’ve always had a problem with my weight for such a long time. I love to eat, and sometimes don’t know when or how to stop. I am a 90% disabled veteran so exercise can be difficult to do. If anyone has any ideas on how to get past this hurdle, I’m all ears.

    hi rockey!

i was born with a disability. when i was younger it hurt but i did it. Now after 50 years my body has told the world to eff off and i can barely stand for 10 minutes. I also don't really have a hunger mechanism so nothing to really urge me to eat and nothing to tell me i'm satisfied either. I can eat as long as the food I am putting in my mouth is good and my tummy is not distended. So we situational twins.

    1. start is logging food. Buy a food scale if you don't have one.
    2. plan your meals and learn portions
    3. don't buy extra food. if it isn't in the house and you have to go get it you are more likely to let it go
    4. move on your butt. I would tell an able person to get off their butts. but i am on mine more often than not. there are chair exercises or you can just wiggle around. do some stretches. The less you move, the less you will be able to move. Doctor told me this when i was five after my first surgery to remove a tumor.

feel free to add me as a friend.
