@deepwoodslady I am so sorry for your loss. How devastating. Be kind to yourself and don't worry about your little weight gain. You are in mourning. Hugs <3

I joined this challenge late but I am down 2.4 lbs this week. Finally broke through a 2 month plateau❤️. I watched a few Jillian Michael’s videos for inspiration. I’ll check in with you all soon.

    That's fantastic. Keep it up.

Posting here for accountability. My March goal is to stop the roller coaster ride. I indulge a little on weekends and spend weekdays undoing the damage. It’s mostly carbs, but when I’m close to goal, even a wrap or a piece of cornbread adds pounds. So, I’m going to try harder and see what happens. And I mean “try” and not just say the three letter word. At 62 I know I should be strength training more so that is my goal this week. Aim for at least two days.
@lclark04957 - your progress looks just like mine, as does your roller coaster rider. I wish you luck with your journey through March, I also need to try harder!

03/01-196.4-(Trend Weight: 196.4)- My power was out until 8:00 am this morning so there was no sleep because I had no C-Pap machine. I tried but to no avail. Finally slept from 8:00 am until 11:00 am and I’m not in very good shape for the funeral this afternoon. My oldest DD will be attending with me. It is frigid cold but sunny, bright and beautiful otherwise. My friend Diane would have loved seeing the birds happily flitting around in play this morning. This was a tough round. Coming down on the scale 1.4 lbs overnight helped but I need to get on a losing streak now. I hope to make March a banner month. Please keep my friend Diane and her family in your thoughts and prayers today.

03/04-195.6-(Trend Weight: 196.3)- My friend Diane has been handed over to the Angels. My heat is fixed since the power coming back on blew out a part. All is back to normal and it’s time now to focus on getting back to good health and good habits. I have noticed lately that I am still eating way too fast which causes me to eat more as I try to fill in a specific time frame that feels normal to me. I don’t know if it’s from early-in-my-life jobs that had very short breaks and food had to be shoveled in. Or maybe the fact that I am one of 6 kids and my 3 brothers would get it all if we didn’t eat fast and stand our ground as sisters. Time to change it. Change isn’t easy at almost 65 yrs old when it’s been a lifetime habit, but I’m going to give it my very best efforts. Have a great week everyone!

@deepwoodslady continued prayers and thoughts for your loss

Excellent restart to health and good habits. Eating slower is a great goal and reminder for us ALL Thanks for sharing

Today I am helping my DH after yesterday’s 3+ hour double hernia surgery. The surgery was more involved with the bladder intertwined.

Then at the hospital, I had another pause in my nutrition plan this time it was shrimp and grits 'twice'. This was a new to me dish and Sooooo Yummy.

Once we got home I looked up the recipe and WOW know wonder it was good all the calories and sodium 😂 😏 Today, I'm back on track
