@iLive2Walk you are right, I do triathlons! I injured my Achilles over a year ago after a marathon so that's why I've been training on the elliptical. I had a race coming up in April but unfortunately I just had to withdraw my entry because the injury is still going to be a problem. I am rearranging my schedule to focus on some bike races instead. Nowadays I really appreciate the parts of my body that work the way I want them to!

02/19-195.8-(Trend Weight 195.1)- Spoiler Alert: Long Sad Post. I gained a whole big fat pound overnight of not-worth-it. Because the gain came from bingeing on junk last night. Lots of emotional eating going on. I found out a few days ago that my friend Diane has just weeks left to live. We knew it was coming at some point. She is only semi-lucid. Not able to eat but a few bites or a little Ensure. I went to see her again yesterday and spoon-fed her some lemon filled bismark donut along with some Ensure. Itβs better than nothing I suppose. My reno has slowed down again as my emergency bail-me-out crew is getting busier with other pre-scheduled things and can barely fit in any hours. It feels like everything around me is falling apart but does it make any sense or help anything if I fall apart too? I swear Iβm trying as best as I can. If I could just stop the gain as I go through this process with my friend I would be happy. But the scale just keeps going up and up meaning more challenges are coming my way and Iβm running out of strength. Life is going to be lonely without her. The landscape just looks barren. Itβs a huge loss. Most of the time she does not make any sense when she speaks. In many ways Iβve already lost her and itβs only her body thatβs left. Isnβt that horrible to say, to think, to realize? It will be hard to let go of whatβs left. I just want to hold on for Dear Life!

Hi, I'm Darlene and am back for another month. I am working my way through the maintenance phase of my journey. I weigh weekly, and record my accomplishments daily. I started this journey in January 2023 and lost almost 90 pounds. I reached my goal weight in October 2024, went back over my goal in November (took a month off from this group - big mistake) and then back to my goal in December and January. This was the first group that joined on MFP and holds a special place in my heart.

02/20-NS-(Trend Weight: NS)- NS=Not sharing. Quite honestly I just feel like the guy from Disneyβs movie βUpβ. Iβm holding All the Balloons and I just keep drifting Up. Iβm not in a very good mood today after seeing the colorless dull and complicated-looking changes coming to MFP on March 4th. I wonβt be changing my post format until after that. I need to see what it all means, but this old gal doesnβt adapt well or learn technical challenges very easily. What they are giving is probably nice but what they are taking will leave us flavorless and not very individual. What more must they take? #disappointed and frustrated.
