Stupid me somehow totally deleted my Facebook account. I lost all my photos that I have put on there since my grandchildren were born! I have tried to create a new account with the same name. I know that I have been friends with some of you on Facebook. Please find my page and ask to be a friend again. And, if any of you would like to join me there, just send me a friend request on MFP and I will send you my Facebook name! I am just sick over this!

It looks like your old account is still up and running and I see your new account with the same pic and 2 friends. I sent you a message in Messenger but its probably in your spam folder. I can take copies of all your pics if you wish me to. Some need to be trimmed down using an edit mode because I was taking screenshots in the beginning. But now I see I can just safe them. I can just put them on messenger.👍🏼

Carol - I can see your old account, too - you just need to go to https://www.facebook.com/carol.bilbo and tell it to reset your password. Or contact Facebook and ask them for assistance. All your photos are still there.6 -

Today I made my version of "trail mix". I toasted some coconut. Then I had these small multicolored marshmallows so I melted a 95% chocolate bar and melted it and drizzled on the marshmallows on a cookie sheet.. Then I put over some unsalted mixed nuts. I also added some of the chocolate to some kashi chocolate cereal (no sugar) squares. Then sprinkled some powdered sugar (just a bit)over the cereal. Like " muddy buddies". I then put some mini chocolate m&m's with peanut butter in them, in the bowl. Then dumped the marshmallow, coconut and peanuts and stirred gently. It was a crazy mess and put in two zip lock baggies. I had fun, and was gentle in toasting the coconut, and melting the chocolate. It was kind of like playing with food but whatever. I have a strange mixture covered in dark chocolate!
Tonight's dinner was cubed chicken sauted in avocado oil and some teriyaki sauce. I cut up a bok choy, some snap peas, a large mushroom, some sweet yellow onion, kung bean sprouts and tossed the veggies in some teriyaki sauce, splash of Mirin, and some spoonfuls of chicken stock. Then I stir fried the chicken until almost done, added the veggies. Added some more chicken stock, some soy sauce, and a slurry of water, black pepper and corn starch. I put it over some crispy noodles. It was just like a Chinese restaurant.💖

Mo-don't know any detail about surgery yet. Will update after I talk to surgeon. I think the goal is to remove whole tumor before it can grow into the pleural cavity but I am not certain. Don't know if they will get preliminary biopsy while I am in surgery or not. It will be a learning experience.
Carol-I am sorry to hear about your Facebook problem. Glad to see the group has help!
Dinner was just about as boring as I thought. I did agree with a couple of the folks recognized so not too bad of an evening-just not my thing any more.
Heading off to bed-looking at two possible places tomorrow with DIL-a bit excited.
Take care all,

Allie- I feel the same way about my former mother in laws (service this Saturday at 10) as you do about Jim. I would like to be there for father in law and former hubby but that would be very awkward for everyone seeings as hubby has remarried. I have text both guys each day.4 -

Did you just delete the app, I think to close the FB account would take a lot of work.
I’ll try to send you a FB message

Tracey - yes, I think you've pegged it for Carol.
Carol - if you're on your Windows computer, just go to the Microsoft Store and download and reinstall your Facebook. If on your phone, go to Google Play Store or wherever you get apps and just reinstall Facebook. It's possible it will still hold onto your password, as well.
I couldn't figure that out, because I DID delete my Facebook completely a few years back, and Tracey was right, it honestly is a lot of work to do, Carol. Pretty sure you haven't lost anything, you will be able to access it soon. Even when I did delete the account, they still held it for either 30 days or 60 days, just in case I still wanted it. I think you will be just fine.2 -

Thanks ... it's going steadily.
On January 11, before I started actively losing weight, I did a 60 km bicycle ride. I had been cycling through the Christmas break and my legs felt pretty good to start. But once I hit the hilly section, I struggled. Then I had a long time during the rest of the ride to think about things as I plodded along.
I think of weight in terms of 2-litre bottles of pop (soft drink). Is that 68 oz in the US?
On January 11, I calculated that I could definitely stand to lose at least 16 kg (35 lbs). 16 kg = 8 of those 2-litre bottles of pop.
If we were to place 4 of those 2-litre bottles of pop into one shopping bag and 4 in another and then pick them up ... they'd be fairly heavy. If we were to go for a long walk carrying them, or try to jog carrying them, or if we were to put them in a backpack and go for a ride ... they'd soon start to feel really heavy.
No wonder I struggled in the hilly section of that ride!! And then had to do the rest of the ride quite slowly.
Now I've taken 2 of those 2-litre bottles of pop and placed them back on the shelf. My shopping bags are lighter! I can walk a bit further!
Meanwhile, I have been exercising to strengthen my legs (in particular, but other parts of me as well).
Now I cycle up hills and they're not quite so hard as they once were. Now I jog and can manage 1.5 km rather than just 1 km. I did a 7.5 km walk just recently which is the longest walk I've done in a long time.
Every 2-litre bottle of pop I put back on the shelf should make the activity I do a little bit easier.
And the more active I am now, the easier it should be for me to be active as I get older.

Good Friday,
My week just feels like it has been discombobulated! I thought today was Saturday. I have been a day off all week...maybe because I worked 3 hours on Sunday? In bed really early this week twice. DH's appointments, Sister in law's appointments (I don't have to take her to those, but she isn't at shop), three days to do 4 loads of laundry....just off. Actually trying to get some work stuffs done yesterday and DH getting pissy because I didn't do what he wanted right away. I told him I was trying to work and would get to his thing when I had a moment-SMH! I may be fighting a cold. Dozed off sitting at breakfast bar after dinner, made coffee, cleaned kitchen, curled up in bed at 8 and promptly went back to sleep. Up early today as DH has an Echocardiogram at 8 am. Tomorrow is MRI at 7 am.
Thankful for all of you helping each other!
Machka I once used a similar analogy when explaining to a young man who was over 300lbs at 30y/o, that he was basically carrying me around all day long. He got up to over 400 lbs before he decided it was time to think about his health. He has 5 young kids and the health problems that I consider "old folks" issues. Congratulations on your improved health especially impressive as dealing with your DH's health issues as well.
Ginny Prayers for successful treatment! Also hope that you and your DIL find a place you like this weekend.
Just (((HUGS))) to all!!! Between health, family, deaths, and new experiences, I think we all deserve them.
Question: So I am full but still need 10g of protein and have the calories to meet that expectation, do I
a) go with I am full and will look at better choices for protein tomorrow
b) eat to meet protein even though belly is full
Last night I was just over calories, full, and couldn't eat another thing so just went to bed. The night before I was full, had calories, but just couldn't do it.
Anyways.....I need to get ready for doctor appointment, then work. REALLY need to go to grocery. Fruits, vegetables, bread, eggs, butter, yogurt, yep, Grocery.
May you have some sunshine and warmth today (unless you are Machka who I wish cool gentle breezes for)
May your choices be the best they can be!
KNOW that YOU ARE IMPORTANT!
Much love,
Kylia in OHIO where the cold is back for the weekend5 -
Got in a quick bicycle ride before going out to Burger Haus ... fortunately I had only eaten breakfast today.

Could not get to sleep last night. I think I was 'stressing' about the dentist appointment, picking up the girls, and what to feed them for dinner. Their mum is picking them up early for Bea's swimming, so it needs to be earlier than usual. I realised that my real anxiety was about leaving the house, which I so rarely do these days. That needs to change. I've always been mildly agoraphobic, but it's worse now.
Realising what was going on in my head really helped me and it made me resolve to get out more.
Of course, in the morning, I didn't have any worries about going to the dentist. It was a blue, blue sky after a frosty night, and absolutely beautiful out. People sitting outdoors at the cafés.Quick filling at the dentist, and I walked a bit further to buy Dim Sum, and popped into Sainsbury for ice cream for the girls. It was lovely out, but the walk made me realise I wouldn't be able to walk back here from school, which is well over a mile. After discussing it with John, we have decided that he will do the pick up on his own and I can get ahead on the food. Otherwise I would go both ways by bus, which seems a bit pointless. He walks with the girls.
I do feel better for my walk this morning and hope we keep our lovely weather for a day or so. So cheering.
I know I always feel better when I get my face on, but there are days at home when I can't be bothered. Then I don't go out because I don't feel good in myself. It's all silly, I know, but small actions and inactions can snowball, and I end up not feeling happy with myself..
Part of it is the priority of finishing my book, which takes up the cream of my brain and my optimum morning time. Nothing much gets done before that. So things will change when that's done ✔️.
Of course, then there's publicity!
A truly balanced life is hard to achieve.
Anyway, I feel so much better this morning. But my thoughts are with my son, and the Celebration of Life. Gorgeous day for it. Makes it all the more poignant.
Love Heather UK xxxxxxxx5 -
@cityjaneLondon I love that you took the walk and it made you feel better. I also love that you thought through why you were feeling the way that you were. Hugs and prayers sent your way today.

Somehow I got back into the old account this morning! I don't understand how I got it back and I don't know if I have two different account with the same name. I'm still not sure what my password would be. I had to use a code.
Carol in GA7 -
Carol - So glad you got it back!
Kylia - Like weight, averaging out your protein take over a week is perfectly fine - you can't be perfect every single day, none of us can. So add a few extra grams the next few days. Eating when you're already full just to satisfy a macro is definitely not a habit you want to start.
Not much sleep last night. Slept a couple hours, then up until Corey left, and slept a couple more. Watched the documentary on Ruby Franke. Finished the Scamanda doc series the other night, too - I think it was you, Tracey, watching that? It fascinates me when people deceive large numbers of folks, especially on the Internet. Makes you wonder how many haven't been caught yet!
Interesting talk with the lawyer yesterday, legal stuff, so won't air it out on this forum, which I am often reminded is very public. We'll see how it all turns out.
Other than that, still working on rug bindings and maybe my next script. Would like to finish a bag before the end of the month, but as that's oh, today, might not get to it! 😂 For the folks who are new, remember that Barbie will begin the March thread at end of day, and this one will be abandoned for the new one, starting a clean slate for us all.
I won't be sad to see February go. But for those who aren't on my Facebook, I thought I'd give you a picture of a long-ago February community event 16 years ago, a few months before Corey and I married. Be still my heart:
💘

Yesterday was an absolutely glorious spring-like day. Sunny, up to 65F in the afternoon. Got my early morning shopping done, then home to tend to laundry and hung it outside. Then drove down to the feed store to pick up some scratch for the hens.
The "feed store" is actually part of a barn filled with huge bags of feed for all kinds of livestock. The other part of the barn is stacked with hay and straw. If I only need a couple pounds of something, they scoop it out for me. When I was there with T on Sunday, we noticed some new chicken scratch on the way out the door. So that's why I went back yesterday - it's about three miles from my house, nice drive in the country.
The place is set beside a huge field with Mt. Rainier in the background. Blazingly white, big and beautiful yesterday.
Anyhow got the scratch and the boys there told me the owner, Kyle, was getting ready to set up a "full service" gas station on a place he owned closer to my house. The attendant would pump gas, check the oil, check the air in the tires, wash the windshield, even dash into the mini mart next door and pick something up so I wouldn't have to get out of the car.
I know some of you currently (or recently did) have that type of service. At this stage in my life, I'd use it sometimes since I don't have regularly scheduled service maintenance on my old cars. I can pump my own gas, but the oil checks and tire pressure - these things I neglect to do.
Carol - glad to see you got your Facebook back. Mine was acting funny today - I was suddenly following people I "unfriended" several years ago! And it seems my laptop is the worst. I don't seem to have problems on the tablet.
Heather - I think I could easily turn into an agoraphobic and now I understand why my DH never wanted to leave the house. Once I get out and about, it's generally just fine. It's the "fixing up" (what little I do, lol) that I don't want to take time for.
I worked on my budget and finances a little yesterday, and I need to make a trip to town next week to set up a different type of checking account which would allow me to get CD's at 4% if I understood the gal right when I called yesterday. With the big jumps in all my insurances and property taxes, I'm on a mission to squeeze out pennies wherever I can.
Barbie - yes, Walmart is a jungle, lol. That's one reason why I go super early in the morning, so I can take my time and find things. If you absolutely must go to Walmart to get something, you might be able to find the website for your particular store, search for the item you want and if they have it, click on it and it usually gives the location. Like Aisle J14 or H24. Finding where the "J" and "H" aisles are located can be challenging, but the shelf stockers always point me in the right direction. And even grab items for me on the very top shelves.
Ginny - crossing fingers you'll have great luck finding a new place. Sending hugs regarding your upcoming surgery.
Lisa - great photo, I can see why it's one of your favorites. You two are adorable.
Kylia - love the kitty pictures, keep them coming.
Cindy - those charts are great, thank you for sharing them!
Foggy and damp right now, but the sun is burning through. Might do some weed-eating this afternoon.

Yesterday did a Real Fitness DVD then went walking with a friend of mine down here. Today did some HIIT. For those who don’t know, I sprint for 10 seconds and then recover for 20. I usually do this on the elliptical since you can change your speed on the elliptical fairly quickly (what I mean is that it responds quickly) Like I might sprint at 160-170 steps/min and then recover at 90-100. The plan for tomorrow is to do a Hot body Yoga DVD
Doing laundry right now (necessary evil). Want to go out by the pool and work on getting rid of these white legs. Have a pot luck to go to at the condo tonight.
I need to exercise first thing in the a.m. or it doesn’t get done. Except for walking, just not walking in the house. Can’t explain that, that’s just what works for me. I usually do write on the calendar what type of exercise I’ll do for the next week. At the same time, I try to decide what we’ll have for dinner each night
M – your husband reminds me of that saying “I’m a senior...give me my d*** discount” Awesome weight loss
Yesterday, after exercising, walked on the treadmill at the Y for a little. Then walked with a friend. Got in over 15,000 steps. Played cards at night.
Margaret – 7 hours with no bathroom break!!! Wish I could do that. I many times can only get in 4 or 5
For some strange reason, HD sells the backsplash separate from the sink for the bathroom (not unusual) . But – the sidesplash they sell is a different size. Now you explain that. So what we did was order two backsplashes and the contractor will cut one down. At least they’ll be the same size. It only cost $10 more, but I think in the end it’ll be worth it
morning everyone!
Cindy – haven’t seen you here in a while (maybe I just missed it. That’s not totally unusual).
Kylia – I know I’m late to the game, but really hope all goes well for you and your hubby. I would probably go with “I’m full” because if you eat something more just for the protein, you may feel yukky. It’s not like your protein is down that much, and you’ll meet it tomorrow. Oh...the other day vince gets up and the fan in the guest bdrm is on. Seems one of the cats jumped up and pulled on the chain! This morning one of the cats was IN the cabinet. He had to take out all the glasses to get the cat out!
Just made some HB eggs, waiting for the laundry to come out of the dryer, will put it away (before it gets “put away” for me...lol), then out by the pool to work on getting rid of these white legs.
