Was just reading the same thing but the sizes were US sizes.

Give people an idea of what size they could be when losing:

    5ft7
    SW 251 Size 20/22
    CW 205.5 size 16 just!

I am 5ft 7, currently 216lbs, and a size 16. I sound like I weigh a lot to be a UK 16 but I'm a UK 36H bust too so a lot of my fat is concentrated in that area lol. I love reading about different sizes/weights etc just because it highlights how individual everybody is. I have a friend who is 168lb and has a 36 inch waist, but at 216lbs my waist is 34. It goes to show weight is not everything, it's height frame etc....really important for esp taller ladies to bear in mind I think.

    CW: 203 - (UK 18)

    GW: 154 - (UK 12?)
Judging by previous posts, sounds like this might be highly feasible.

    I'm 5ft 4in

I started 104kg, size 22 on top, 24 on the bottom.

I'm now 76 kg, size 14 on top, 16 on the bottom.

My measurements are weird though. I wear a 16 on the bottom but have a 29 inch waist and have massive baps.

It really is amazing how much people's body shape and build affect their dress size as opposed to their height and weight!

    I was 13st 10lbs and a dress size 14 to 16 (but I would probably avoid buying the 16).
    I'm now 9st 13lbs and in between a size 8 and 10.
I'm 5ft 5 in height and just a few lbs off my goal weight.

I've found that my weight has come off on my hips, bum and boobs (all the good stuff!!!) so I am no longer hourglass and am a pretty straight/rectangular body shape instead. I do miss the curves that I have lost but I have gained quite a bit of muscle and feel much stronger and healthier...plus us B-cup girls can always accentuate our curves with the right clothes!

    Great job everyone :-)

    5 ft 4 inches.
    151 pounds (10 stones 11 pounds).
Size 14 in Dorothy Perkins jeans, could probably squish into a 12.

Even people the same height clothes size vary so much. They should make shops unify the sizes properly

I think there is huge variation in sizing... but there is also huge variation in what some people consider to be a comfoprtable fit. I can pick up some size 10s now and get into them and zip them up but that doesn't mean they "fit" me properly. I prefer to wear a size 12 comfortably rather than looking like I squeazed myself into a 10.

There are also huge variations in muscle mass. Someone with higher muscle mass/lower body fat will be a smaller size at the same weight than someone who is skinny fat.

    5'10
    10 stone
    Size 6-8 Uk.

Also, fact is, people will have different bone structures so two people weighing the same, at the same height, will not necessarily be the same clothing size.

Ohhhhhh how I hate having to be so honest. It's like posting my hip measurement which has to exceed the size of my little barbecue grill. LITTLE barbecue grill.

    I'm a 22/24 without being tight.
I weighed in at 272. Down a bit from last Friday!

    I want to be a 16 to 18.
I would like to dip under 200 and see 198 then lose MORE! Don't know where I want to be, maybe 175.

    I'm a full 6 feet tall.

    Im a size 20/22. Australian.
    Im 172cms.
    Currently weigh 103kgs. 227 pounds.
I carry a lot of it around my middle *sigh*

I would love to be a 10/12. I really just want to get rid of the awful stomach I have.
Or to be able to put on a pair of pants that I don't need to get bigger to accommodate the ugly pouch of hanging fat I have to currently deal with around my mid section.
