I ran 10 miles this morning. I started out about 8:45 and it was already 68°F. It was 80°F by the time I got home. There was a little wind which helped it not to be too hot. I'll have one more run to finish the month. It's hard to believe March is over. Thanks for setting us up for next month @AlphaHowls.

118.9km for the month, so definitely headed in the right direction. The plan was 25km of running a week, and I averaged 26.6. I’ve also done 2-3 Pilates classes each week as per my plan. Skipping has been an almighty fail however, and yoga is patchy but better than my February efforts.
The big achievement is being completely pain free when I run (ignoring the current back/hip niggle as it’s a usual not an injury).

Was meant to go gym today, but didn't have enough time for it to be a meaningful workout (need at least 1hr15 there). So went for a sl-easy run instead.
Got in 4.0 at 10'35.
So 75.5M for the month

Finished out the month with a treadmill WUN. Forced to have a few days in a row off because I got really sick but back in the game! I didn't quite make my goal of 75km walking, 10kms running for the month but I'm not mad at 67kms either. See you all in April :)

March is done. Today was the first day I have felt good since getting the flu last week. Went for a longer walk this morning to test the lungs out and I'll see how my body handles the exercise as the day goes. Fingers crossed I can run tomorrow. See everyone in April!

So much for mileage this month. Think I'll hit 65km. Winter came back this weekend. Wiped out twice, rib held up yay.

I fell short of my monthly goal of 90 miles. I ended up with 81.48 miles for the month. I'm thinking about stepping back from running and focusing on other areas of fitness. TBD!

Yay, got my goal for March! My programme wanted me to run 4x800m fast but I felt very unconfident today and didn't want to end the month with a potential failure. Hence only 3 intervals, which actually went quite well. I'm sure I could have done it.
I'll not delete this list into April because I want to do exercises for 31 days, and I still need to go to 4 April.7 -
March running is a wrap altho a few more walks may be in store as it really is a gorgeous day. Plan to ease up a bit in April. Maybe.

It was cool again this morning, 49°F feels like 42°F. It was really nice running weather. I usually run a shorter run on Monday after my long run on Sunday, but today I went ahead and ran 5 miles. It looks like we may have rain/thunderstorms later in the week, so I figured I'd better run while I can, and if it isn't stormy later then I'll just get a few extra miles. Today's run brings me to 165.91 for the month. I wish I had realized I was that close to 166 and I would have made an extra loop in front of the house. Great running this month everyone! I look forward to seeing you all over in the April thread!

I decided last night I was going to try for 80 miles so split the run into 2 so not to set my foot back when it's coming on great.
I've had a great month, did yoga every day except 1, and got 218 miles on my bike. My foot is finally recovering well and I lost the 5 lbs gained in Nov/Dec. April has a lot of family things happening so might not go as well. Our grandson is turning 2 on the 7th and our 2nd grandchild is due around the 12th and then Easter means more family coming home for the long weekend.

@kgirlhart Funny you mention your wanting to round up your mileage total. That’s what lead me to run 10.2km at the gym today instead of 10 (or less). I figured I should end the month on a round number, since I was so close (I ended with 339km). If I weren’t tapering, I probably would have ran 1 more, but I didn’t want to take it that far ;).
So far taper is going well. I am supposed to take tomorrow off. I just realised that I unintentionally broke my monthly mileage record :). March was stressful and I had a ton of stuff going on, but it ended up still being quite good for running for me.

I got out the door finally again. I did a lot of binge eating last week and not running. I kept coming up with excuses. Since I couldn't get my computer working at work and on the system, I went for a run. It felt so good!!!
The last time I ran this much in one month was May 2024 when I did 54km in one month.
With running 4km a day for 3 days a week (5km on Easter Monday as I will be off that day), and building my Saturday runs by 1km a day (8km this Saturday), my goal for next month is 180km. Lets see if I can do it!

Funny about the talk about evening up the mileage. I was a bit short on time, so figured out before I got started how much I wanted to run. I had hoped to make it to 90 miles this month, but with the time constraints, I knew I wouldn't have time for 4.35 miles. I didn't want to end with 89 miles, because I would feel like I could have gone that extra mile. But, stopping at a total of 88 miles seemed okay. 😂
The run was a run/walk of 2/1 min at paces of 4.5-6.0/4.0 mph. Avg pace was 12:22 min/mile. Avg HR was 122 with a max of 150 bpm.
I also had 8h59m19s of other exercise this month - tennis and gym workouts.
