Finally getting back to it

Generally, been struggling to stay consistent with my weight loss goals for the past year or so, sitting at a clean 205lb trying to drop to 175lb. Managed to stay below yesterday (a lot of it was realizing how high-calorie some of my snacks that didn't have nutrition labels were) and I'm really trying to go for it today.

Wish me luck?

Absolutely, its those weekends. There is a looseness about a weekend that says its ok to go crazy- for me. Then I heard of a friend's friend who had a " Fatty liver: and I got all scared and back in shape. Just for this time, I;ll do the right thing.

For me, it's work. I have a relatively sedentary desk job in a hotel. Sometimes when we are busier, I'm running all over the place. But I am seated next to the "suite shop," where all our goodies are. When we are slow its way to easy to grab a candy bar or small bag of chips or pop. Having to log them help me with paying attention to calories and nutritional value. Plus my boyfriend just got diagnosed with being a type 2 diabetic, so I am trying to "be good" with my snacks to support him. Been bringing my own healthy snacks to work.

Over the last year, I picked up alcohol and carbs again. I've gained 25 pounds in six months. I'm on day 4 of no alcohol and using this site. I support you and wanted to share my story with you.
