Gastric sleeve?

so i recently had surgery December 2024 and im struggling to get in my daily recommended protein. Simply because i cant eat and drink at the same time. How do i go about eating very little and drinking through the day to meet my protein goals. I literally have no appetite to eat anymore so it's more so me tryna force myself to eat something because i know i HAVE to. What do i eat? If i knew what healthy eating was i wouldn't have been 401 pounds… i stressed so bad over the last two years i lost majority of my weight before the actual surgery. I was 265 surgery date & now 229. im not losing because im not eating. Idc about losing weight as much as i actually care about my health and nutrition right now. Sorry for the run on sentences but if you look over that and see im seeking help and advice from people who've actually been in this situation, i would really appreciate some feedback because my team isn't very helpful (i think because they haven't went thru this experience)

If you've stopped losing weight, you're getting calories from somewhere. Are you tracking what you're eating? Most people lose dramatically in the first 6 months after surgery. Maybe try protein shakes if you say you're not getting enough protein?

You're not losing because you're not eating. For how long have you not lost any weight? If it's less than a few weeks it's just normal fluctuations. If you don't use a food scale and don't log everything you eat then you're however eating more than you think. You can easily stop weightloss by constantly grazing and eating small amounts of food.

When was your surgery?

based on the title of the discussion, I’m going with gastric sleeve.

First — Super CONGRATULATIONS on deciding to get healthy, losing 135 pounds before the surgery and another 35 since the surgery.
Second — I agree on protein drinks. I like LeanFit whey concentrate.
Third — I also recommend you speak with your doctor, who presumably is following you at least monthly post surgery.
Last — I’ve noticed a theme in this community that weight loss slows down the less we need to lose. It is possible that your body is adjusting and you’ll find the weight comes off more slowly going forward. In other words, slow and steady wins.
Take care,

I asked 'when' not 'what' 😉 but I found it in the OP after rereading: December 2024.
Not sure of the precise timing (beginning versus end of month) but losing 36lbs in about 3 months doesn't sound like 'not losing weight'. So it's the stall recent?
