Keep that tape measure close! When the scale ain't moving, grab your tape measure, check your body girth. Nine times out of ten, you'll find that inches have been lost!

For me, when I measure and confirm that indeed, there are changes to my body mass, I rejoice! It indicates my program of nutrition, exercise, sleep, and proper hydration is working! I am a work in progress, and boy does it feel good to see progress!

Body Composition Change- Waist:
Jan 2025: 39 inches (Obese, High Risk)
Mar 2025: 36 inches (Improvement)
NIH Metric: 35 inches (Almost There!) NIH=National Institutes of Health (US), Canada NHS
Goal: 30 inches

Back: No back fat rolls! (one of my happiest features, lol)

Clothing NSV's are my favorite!

Smaller Size: Was an XL, slid into a size L this week!
The mauve leggings is a gift from a friend who is a size M. She insisted I would be able to fit the leggings which are a size L. I tried them on this morning and YASSS they fit! The grey outfit is also a size L. It is an outfit my Sister gifted to me several years ago. I almost gave it away, I'm glad I didn't.

While this post in not about SCALE victory, there are those that are wondering, well just how much weight has she lost? To date I have lost -145 lbs. My goal is -165 lbs.

@Catwmncat THANK YOU my long time friend, teammate, and inspiration!
All of the sharing and caring that happens on our team is truly special, one of a kind, really. I'm lucky to be able to surround myself with team mates that are working hard on bringing forth their best self.

Also, thanks for picking up on my happy vibe — at 61 years old, soon to be 62yo, achieving a "HAPPY FEATURE" like no back fat or no back rolls, is a highly personal happiness, the kind you can't keep in! I look at my happy back and am like, girl you go, that's not the back of a 61 year old! It's those little goals that you set and achieve, that bring about the greatest changes!🤩
