Managing diet in a healthy way

Hello I am wanting to use my fitness pal to help track how much protein I am having and whether what I am eating affects my anxiety, I am also training for a marathon. I have a history of restrictive eating and body dysmorphia and I find stuff around weight or calories quite difficult. I didn't know if anyone had any advice on how best to use the app whilst managing this if anyone has a similar understanding?

I use the app any time I want to lose weight. I've learned to log my food, which gives me calories, protein intake, fat and several other things. I also log my weight every morning.
As for the exercise, I know this can be logged as well. There is a lot about the app I don't know. The exercise end of it being one. But there is another fitness pal app that you can track your running. Distance, calorie burn, times, etc. It is also free.

Do you have a treatment/medical team that helps you with the restrictive eating and the body dysmorphia? I think it may be difficult for someone with those issues to use an app that is so specifically tuned to numbers and counting…Maybe ask your medical or psych team for suggestions of how better to achieve your goal. Calories/macros/body weight/exercise calories counting can be very triggering.
Are you at a healthy weight right now?
