How long did it take you to start losing again after giving birth?

I’m 7 weeks postpartum, not breastfeeding, and have been limiting my calorie intake to 1200-1400 calories a day for the past month. Despite this, I haven’t lost a single pound, although the app says I should have lost 7-8 by now. 😭
For those who lost weight after pregnancy and started making efforts right after birth, how long did it take you to start seeing the scale move again?

I lost 25lbs right after having my baby doing nothing. I’m 8 weeks postpartum. Im on day 4 of my actual weight loss journey. Scale went down 1.5lbs. Still early for me but I workout, eat 1200-1400 calories and log everything I eat. I don’t eat more because I workout either.

Is there a particular reason you're not breastfeeding? Just curious, because it does help burn a lot of calories if you're able. No judgement either way! Also, birth is a very traumatic experience for your body. Give it some grace, it takes time to recover.

I’ve had four children. Getting back to pregnancy weight came naturally and took longer after each one.
I have a suspicion that you are not eating enough calories.0 -
I can’t breastfeed for medical reasons, unfortunately
