05/06 170.5Strength training went well yesterday but the mobilize class last night was tough. It was too warm and quite humid in the room. I was more sweaty than usual and some moves were actually painful so I skipped them. Back to my conditioning today for the Murph, will do 4 rounds of the 3 sets. It's it's dry at noon, I'll get out for a quick walk.

- May 5: 195.2 - I felt bloated and gross this morning. Not sure what's going on, but I'm not going to worry overly much about this. I did not eat and extra 12000 calories yesterday.

5/7 - 149Went on a 5 mile hike last night with my daughter in law. So nourishing along the creek bed in the foothills. It was warm but had some shaded paths under the huge oak trees.
Also did a step and strength class this afternoon - worked hard and feel good!4 -

5/6- 168.2- treadmill 20 minutes, 10 minutes elipticalWe have a horse show this weekend so between working long days and trying to stay on my workout routine, and trying to slowly get the trailer packed, its been hectic.
I am liking the Jefit app for workouts. I chose a 3 day split muscle hypertrophy workout plan that is preprogrammed. Its a fancy name for working different muscle groups on different days. Alot of the exercises I have already been doing but it is helpful to have the structure of it and the timer counting for you.
Tomorrow I have a hike in the evening with friend but will still need to do my leg workout earlier in the day. The hike won't be much of a workout for me.The other ladies going are not fit at all and hike very slowly so I just stick with their pace , more for the social aspect then a workout for me!
@MercyRoth -thanks. yes, its very maddening that they are so predatory. My gut rarely fails me! I am looking into investing in a barbell for my home gym.(barbell deadlifts, etc) That will give me some additional diversity on workouts that I am looking for.

Grrr. Yesterday I was so proud of myself, I resisted the temptation to go to the pub for trivia, and instead went for a walk, did a workout, drank lots of water, and made a home cooked meal. The scale does not reflect this 🤬

I've had a simmering health issue that is unfortunately starting to progress so I won't be able to do that Murph challenge this year after all. But I will keep working towards it for the next week. And it won't interfere I my upcoming beach vacation either. More details down the road. This group has been supportive and motivating, I plan to continue chiming in 😊

@tishsmith101 - I am sorry to hear that . I know you have been working hard toward that goal but like you said, may just have to push the timeframe out and a beach vacation is never bad to have to look forward to!
@MercyRoth -even though the scale didn't reward you, I think its always good long term to resist some of these temptations for the long haul goals. You may not see the change on the scale right away but over time, it should only benefit you.. changing behaviors and making better choices for our health is half the battle
@pridesabtch - Please don't be too discouraged. You rocked it last month and lost a tremendous amount of weight . You body may need a bit of time to readjust. Anything more than 2 lbs a week is pretty aggressive weight loss and while we all love that , most professionals in the industry will tell you that its not going to stay that way consistently. Stay the course and keep making healthy decisions. Believe me I am the queen of stalling these days.:). I just keep at it, hoping for something to change eventually. I know hormones play a part as well.

I also didn't get much of a dinner last night. We cooked chicken but it was late and I think the grillmaster was in a rush and it didn't quite cook enough. I got so grossed out trying to eat my piece I lost my appetite and so all I ate was rice. SO needless to say I didn't hit my macros yesterday .
