Depends on personal goals and personality, I think.
Also, I'm not a fan of 7 days/week workouts, let alone consistent 2-a-days, from a training/performance standpoint. IMO, that's not even the best route to general fitness improvement, especially for a person who hasn't been working out much . . . or at all.
