@itladyee - my walking depends on what I've got on in the day, if I've got no plans, then I will do it all in one go, but have to plan the route around a toilet stop somewhere approx. midway, however, if I have other things on then often I'll walk there - invigilating at a local school, nail/dentist/any other appointments, & then walk back. Walks of over 10 miles are usually full days at weekends with DH, & they can maybe involve some site seeing along the way and also a good picnic/lunch stop.

I'm lucky that I am retired now (apart from my part-time part year casual invigilating during exam. times at a local school in walking distance), so I don't have to arrange my walking around work! I love walking, it's my mind healing time, my planning time & time to connect with nature, as well as my daily exercise.

I enjoy reading everyone’s posts with my coffee each morning.

    Highest weight 242 lbs Lowest weight 142 lbs (2019) Re-start JGMTD Feb 2024 @ 204 lbs

    Round 297 End Weight 174.4

    5/31 174.0
    6/01 174.0
    6/02 175.8
    6/03 173.6
    6/04 172.6
    6/05 173.6
    6/06 173.2

6/07 173.6 Surprised it’s not much higher since I felt like my eating was all over the place yesterday. Lack of sleep and alcohol were the culprits.
My Friday night sleep was a mess, I’ll fast forward through the ups and downs pre midnight but by midnight I was sleeping nicely. Boom 1:30am, super intense storm. Thunder and lightening right on top of us, from the Saturday gossip the entire village was awake!

Finally back to sleep when at 3am our attic fire alarm starts going off. Woke up in combat mode. DH ran up to investigate while I scooped up the dogs. I had them half way to the car ready to call 911 when DH came out to say false alarm.

    Never went back to sleep.

At my 5:30am workout 2 other people were telling their strange electrical occurrences that happened at 3am- one woman’s coffee pot started brewing and another gentleman’s tv turned on.

So lack of sleep and exhaustion, we went out on the boat for the early afternoon before more storms- I pounded two large adult ice teas. Total disorganized feeding frenzy after that while I did chores. I ate everything in sight but no actual meals.

Went to bed at 6:30pm and slept for 10hrs!!!

I feel human again this morning. And like all I want is water, fruit and salad today.

@deepwoodslady love the pic, I need to bring some last day of school energy into my life!

@itladyee hoping today’s post makes you crave fruit and salad since I’ve been an evil carb temptress lately 😂😂

Just Give Me 10 Days – Round 298
    May 31 – June 9, 2025

    SW: 128.4

5/31 – 129.0 Did not get this posted on the correct day. I did a mini binge Friday night, and it is showing on the scale. I also had BAD night. I’ll expound below.

6/1 – 128.8 Friday, I had my physical as I mentioned last round. All went well, then she offered me the pneumonia vaccine. I figured why not. Well, man, it better be worth it. I was not warned how crappy I could feel (note that many have no reaction – like my sister). My arm was so sore that I could not sleep, and did not catch on that more was manifesting. I ended up with definite stomach ache, back ache, headache, and I think low level chills. Advil did not cut it, so I added Tylenol. Finally with 5 pills in me I felt good, which I was glad because I had a 10 am at my daughter’s house to show possible dresses. After, I headed to the mall, did returns feeling good and thinking it was over. Nope, it was just that the 5 pills had not worn off. Was in bed or on the couch the rest of the day and went to bed at 8PM. It is almost 7 am Sunday, I THINK it may be over, but just popped some Tylenol just in case.

6/2 – DNW Just was not in the mood to face the scale today, but heh, it is Monday and there is always a chance for a new day and to do better. I expect today to be good.

6/3 – 131.0 Oh, man. Given that I had a “perfect” day, and then went late night crazy, I wish I HAD stepped on the scale yesterday. A number like this would have stopped me a day sooner. So up until 8 pm last night, I had fit in a walk (first in at least a week), had planned and tracked all day, was under target, AND was not even hungry when I got out of line. Go figure. I am now past the vaccination side effects, so that cannot be my excuse, and I am committed to not do a third evening with such behavior. I am heading to the gym to get in a session today, something that has also been lacking for over a week. Happy Tuesday all!

6/4 – 130.4 Excellent day yesterday. Hour in the gym, calories tracked and on point. I think the number will improve once my digestive system gets back in order. No TMI this morning, which is not typical. If I can get back into the 128’s by the end of the round, that would be great!

6/5 – 129.4 Ok, now we are getting back to reality. Did not get in any exercise yesterday, but lots of packing and cleaning up. Early morning at my mom’s ALF, but found and resolved several issues, then returned two more dresses, came home and got the house ready, cooked dinner, finished cleaning, drove to maine (again) and unpacked the car. Today, I plan to get a walk this morning, before it gets hot. Then errands to run, and then the day just gets normal.

6/6 – 128.8 Long day yesterday. I made to Maine Wednesday night and still had a little unpacking to put away yesterday morning when a panicked phone call came in from my mother’s private aid. She was calling 911. Long story short, had errands to quickly run to square away the property (Hubby has to be up there for condo issue), then hubby from me from ME to MA. I unpacked while hubby got the condo all turned back and I proceeded to the hospital. Was planning to stay until 8 and let mom sleep, then at 7:30 they came in and told us she was being transferred to a higher level hospital. Ambulance came for the transfer at 10 PM. I followed her over, saw her to her room, and went over things. Drove home and was about to crash fully dressed on the couch, when the admitting doctor called to go over things. Anyhow, exercise NOPE, but calories perfect (I did track). Drinking my coffee and hope to be in the car in 45 minutes heading back.

6/7 – 128.6 Any long day yesterday. Left home at 8 am, and got home at 9 pm. I honestly have no idea what happens with a patient in a hospital who is mentally and physically compromised and does not have people advocating for them. Sister joined for a few hours in the afternoon, but otherwise was alone all day fielding mom’s needs and concerns. I know the staffing is spread thin, but it really showed yesterday, unlike the first affiliated smaller hospital that she started in. Regarding myself, sat way too much but was careful on calories and thoughtful on choices. Finished the day under target. Rumor is that mom is being released today, but I need to be prepared for that, or if she is not. Heading over even earlier today. Mom cannot feed herself without assistance.

06/06-191.4 ✅ - (Trend Weight: 193.0) I usually don’t weigh on Fridays (during the school year). I experimented today and found there to be an exact one pound difference between 6:30 am and 10:30 am. Naturally I am posting the 10:30 am lower weight lol. I lay back down for more sleep after the bus on Fridays since I usually only get about 3 to 4 hours of sleep before school (night owl). Because I also drink 8 – 10 oz of water with my Fosamex when I first wake up at 6:00 it usually skews my weight higher. Today was the last day of school (1/2 day) so I will be able to weigh at normal time (about 9:00 am) until fall starting next Friday. DGS is passing to the 2nd grade. He’s very excited! We are still hoping to celebrate tomorrow with Lilo and Stitch and a restaurant of his choice out-of-town. We don’t have a movie theater in our small town. Here is Owen getting off the bus today.

🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️06/07-190.4 ✅ - (Trend Weight: 192.7) A nice little drop this morning. My weight-in was about an hour earlier than usual. Got up early to get ready for the trip to the movies. TMI after a couple of no-go days really helped. My diet was on point yesterday also but less physical movement than I’ve been getting lately so I didn’t expect to see the scale move this much. They have chosen Golden Corral for dinner. Oh my, all you can eat. But must I really eat “all I can eat”? Feeling weak. Maybe being this close to the 180’s will help me. I’m not feeling it though, honestly. I’ll try to watch the dessert plate at least which is A LOT since that is my biggest temptation.

5/31  133.0  83 days until DGS’s wedding. Of course I am now wishing I had bought the dress that wasn’t my favorite because that was the one DH “LOVED.” My initial comment was “I don’t love this one.” I may have to go back and see if it’s still there. I absolutely HATE buying clothes!

6/1   133.0  I went back and bought the dress.

6/2  132.5 Great Greek yesterday, one chicken skewer and small salad, 1T natural PB in the late afternoon.

6/3  133.0  No explanation for uptick. I made Crack Chicken Casserole for dinner and ate 1 serving of 4. We love leftovers!

6/4  132.0 We had a short session at the gym yesterday morning but at least WE WENT! Carl took blind friend to lunch. I ate the last portion of the casserole plus, later, 3 chunks of chicken from Great Great w/tzatziki. Today a new challenge a different restaurant that’s only been open for about a month or so, called the Lazy Dog.

6/5  132.5  Great cheeseburger with some green chilies, onion and guac and great fries - I ate too many🤷‍♀️- they were crispy, just as I asked.

6/6  132.5 I’m  okay with being “stuck” here. I hardly ate yesterday. No TMI X 3 - I ran out of prunes (don’t groan, I have always loved them) and forgot to pick up more.

6/7  132.0  This encourages me! We went to the gym yesterday morning. I’m not doing an extreme workout. Treadmill, two hip machines and the row. I increased the weight and reps on each, no extremes. I have osteoporosis and don’t want anything to break! I went to bed at 1 AM and woke at 6:25.

    Thank you @quiltingjaine 🌸

5/31 RTW-Yesterday was a free for all after traveling home from my uncles cabin. Back on the wagon today.
6/1-140-Still feeling the repercussions of the road trip and unnecessary carbs. Today will be cooler, so we won’t be stuck in the house.
6/2-140- Made cinnamon rolls to take and ate one while I was there. Off to PB this morning and a fundraiser dinner tonight. No bread today.
6/3-DNW-Today, today I will be back on the wagon. Yoga this morning, horse, yard work and some quilting when it gets hot….
6/4-140-PB this morning and hope to stay out of the snacks.
6/5-141-Went to lunch and had the burger in a salad but did have a few French fries. I’ll get back to PB and my green, protein packed smoothie today.
6/6-141-Off to Pickleball (PB) and need to bring my green smoothie with me so I don’t walk in the house and eat everything in sight. It’s cooled off a bit, so yard work and horse.

Yard work this morning then to a birthday party at a tap house with a taco truck. I am having a smoothie before I leave and will drink water only and leave early. Beer and a taco wagon sounds like a disaster for sure.

@deepwoodslady-Donna-I love the picture of Owen!!!!😊

@deepwoodslady Donna, I also love the picture of Owen.

I am trying to post the next round. Going line by line to reformat and hit post and get a message that I “can’t do that” It still appears that I’m logged in, my picture is in the corner. This is ridiculous MFP! One more time!

Hoping to stay consistent this round and looking at the scale even on days where I am scared to!!

    5/31 —

6/1 - 189lbs. I was 187 last round but I ate some peanut butter which always gives me inflammation… so here I am!

    6/2 - 189lbs

    6/3 - 189lbs

6/4 - 187.5lbs .. alright. I think I’m recovering from this inflammation again. Also, I started going back to the gym! Last time I had great results by doing primarily strength training with a quick 5-10min cardio at the end of my workout. Let’s see if it works again!

    6/5 - forgot

    6/6 - forgot

6/7 - 191lbs ugh discouraging. I know I’m inflamed again but so tired of the 4-5lbs swing so quickly!

Another Opportunity to Stay True to Oneself MFP Friends 🤩

I've been fairly awful lately for many reasons. Of course I know better, blah blah & yak yak etc...

We always do. Last round closed 2.6 lbs up and 20lbs overweight.

Nearly everyone can recite what's healthy. Performance is more complex.

I'm anticipating a 😈Hellish😈 two weeks. To make it through, my goals are simple:

    • Show Up - 10 of 10 posts
    • Weigh daily
    • Post body composition twice

    Rnd 298 SW 159.6 lbs

    5/31 - 156.6lbs

My day was so lazy that laziness itself would ask what's your problem if this were possible. No further comment. 😉

    6/1 - 156.2 lbs

Tanita Scale: fat 17.8%/ water 60.0%/ lean calc 22.2%

Not yet respectable but I'm doing better!

    6/2 - 156.6 lbs

I'm still a hot mess but I keep trying.

    6/3 - 155.6 lbs

Body composition numbers are off between this week and last. I'm sure it's because I did not measure well and/ or average. I'm uncertain if either were done well.

This is not important right now. Until my macros and my strength training routines are on back on schedule, accuracy is less meaningful.

Today I'm benefiting by documenting recent muscle loss. The need to gain muscle is undeniable. Without dense muscle I risk becoming frail. It's also proof that heavy physical activity is not the same as my targeted exercise cycle.

    Tanita scale: 22.5% fat / 55.7% water / 22.8% lean calculation / Category - Overweight

YMCA calculation: Body fat 28% / Fat mass 44 lbs / Lean mass 112 lbs / Body Fat Category - Acceptable

DoD calculation: Body fat 33.0% (max 36%) / Body fat in weight 51.4 lbs / Lean body weight 104.6 lbs / Category - under maximum (I use the under forty guidelines for DoD. My goal is to be fit rather than "fit for my age". )

    6/4 - 156.4 lbs
    Tanita scale: Fat 22.3% / Water 55.0% / Lean calc 22.7%
Waking is the best time to get on the scale until I'm back at my "goal weight". Mid day fluctuations aren't informative right now. However, it's more important to weigh daily. When I skip things go haywire.

    6/5 - 157.8 lbs
    Tanita scale: Fat 23.1% / Water 54.3% / Lean calc22.6%
Over ate yesterday. Bananas always show on the scale with immediate effect.

    🎷 67 yrs young F, 5ft 4 Round 298 (my 228th). So grateful as always @quiltingjaine .

    Goals for every round;

First and foremost, no feeding frenzies – I am not a shark or even a piranha!

to weigh less at the end of the round than the start

be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end

I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.

    image-f742f39d8177a-eb5e.png

    Spoiler Warning

I am the driver in my life, not the passenger, I need to drive my life to a healthy life. "Health is wealth".

    EW Rnd 297 142

    SW Rnd 298 141.6

5/31 141.6 (trend 141.1) 9.06 miles walked. A good start to the round with sensible eating yesterday. Up to Sheffield today for youngest DGD's 4th birthday party, there will be cake, but intend being sensible on everything else.

6/1 144.6 (trend 141.6) ouch! ☹. Overindulged at the party yesterday & no exercise either 😪.

6/2 142.6 (trend 141.7), that’s better, yesterday & during the night after the party I felt very bloated and uncomfortable, last night I was so tired, I went to bed early and slept all through, feel so much better this morning – lesson learnt? 13.74 miles walked.

    6/3 142.6 (trend 141.8) 9.82 miles walked.

    6/4 141.8 (trend 141.9) 6.85 miles walked. Halfway through!

    6/5 142.2 (trend 142) 7 miles walked.

    6/6 142.2 (trend 142) 7 miles walked.

    6/7 141.4 (trend 141.9), 5.8 miles walked.

6/8 140.8 (trend 141.7) 8.12 miles walked. I have had a very disgruntled 36 hours; arrived home from a day of invigilating on Friday afternoon to a summons to attend jury service the first 2 weeks in August 😤. It's not the actual jury service that I am so grumpy about, it's the fact that that week I have so much in my calendar - firstly it is the end of The British Transplant games; youngest DGS & his sibling take part, DH & I volunteer, the final party of the games is Sunday night & we had planned on staying over to Monday (DH has booked a days leave from work), I'm giving Blood (100th donation) & I am childminding both DGS for a couple of days as it's summer school holidays. Couldn't be a worse time - I could ask for a postponement, but you can only do this once and then I run the risk of being summoned for the time we are abroad on holiday in September - uhrrrr! I've apologised to DD for letting her down with the boys & to DH for messing up his weekend & leave & being grumpy, and I've rearranged my blood appointment.

But as I was starting this post this morning I realised that I've (for me) had an amazing NSV - I've not turned to a food binge - not once!, but just been extremely grumpy in a 'why that fortnight' strop. This morning I'm feeling quite proud of myself ! 😁

Sister joined for a few hours in the rest of the afternoon, but otherwise was alone all day fielding mom’s needs and concerns.

6/8 – 127.6 Not sure where this came from. Yes, I under ate yesterday, but 300 cals don’t lead to a one pound drop. Plan to do well today if for no other reason than I am going to finally do my annual labwork tomorrow morning. Last 127.X sighting was very early May 2024.

We did get mom home yesterday. Mom’s private aid came to the hospital and managed to work with her to have a “normal” setting where she would relax enough to urinate (would not let her leave until she did). We and mom are very lucky that Thursday this same aid noted mom was not acting right and checked her O2 and it was averaging about 66, and even dipped to 57 at one moment. She was literally dying. It is amazing that mom bounced back so quickly at the hospital.

    I can:
    ✅ Show up/post daily
✅ Stay consistent/Don't change the plan
✅ Push through the hard moments
    ✅ Make progress—physically, mentally, emotionally.
    ✅ Start the momentum
    Measurable Daily Goals
    🚶🏽- Closing my rings M-S Move = 700/Exercise = 45/Stand = 12)
    🍎- Tracking/Under Calorie Budget (~ 1650 ~)
    ✅ - Macros - Protein (75g - 100g) Carbs < 75g
    💧- Water - 50 oz minimum
    🚫 - No Wine
    ⬇️- Downward trend
    🚶🏽🍎✅💧🚫⬇️
SW RND 298 ~ 231.4 Goal this round 227.6 or less than started, whichever comes first!
***Vanity Round *** Cute outfits, wearing a “belt”, loving what’s I see in the mirror!!! #FueledByVanity
5/31 231.2 🚶🏽💧⬇️ Walked 2.9 miles yesterday, Calories over budget, so will probably show up tomorrow. Getting back out there for another walk. Not sure if I will get close to 3 miles but I will give it a go….
6/1 232.2 🚶🏽🍎✅ Didn’t think I could do 3 days in a row at 3 miles, but I did. There was no pain, ok, minimal, so I kept going….i know i need a day of rest but I think Im going to push to Tuesday (work day) when I only do treadmill….Calories 1752, so bump from the day before, I guess. I’ve got to get back to logging my CICO in my spreadsheet so I can start to troubleshoot the lack of downward trend.
6/2 231.8 🚶🏽🍎✅⬇️ Going for day #4 today then rest tomorrow. Calories 1686. Water!!!
6/3 230.4 🚶🏽🍎✅⬇️ Yes!! 4 days in a roll clocking 3 miles each day and happy to see the scale come down. Today, active rest day. I was on the treadmill for 30 minutes. It's a work day so I'll be sitting for about 6 hours but have nothing else physical planned for the day. Calories 1964. I've been focusing on eating (dinner) earlier…between 3 & 4…but unfortunately that leaves room for snacks..but as long as I can control the snacks to stay under calorie goal… Win???
6/4 231.4 🚶🏽🍎✅💧 Less active just by the fact that it was a work day but I did manage to close my rings (700/45/12). I considered yesterday an active rest day and did 30 minutes on the treadmill. Calories 1616. Finally a decent water day. It's wet and rainy today and looks like an all day thing. Unlikely to get 3 miles in but will do my VRBox/Dance for a bit. My treadmill does not give me the same mileage as outside so I just use time for measurement there.
6/5 230.8 🍎✅💧🚫⬇️ I didn't close my rings because I put my watch on the charger at 8:30 and didn't remember until 3:00 ish….urgh. Even from 3 on, I was at least 75% on each ring so I would have closed them… oh well. I didn't get my walk in due to the weather but I repotted about 10 plants which gave me quite a calisthenic workout :) Calories 1947. Headed out today but feeling very sore….hopefully will walk it off!
6/6 231 🚶🏽🍎✅⬇️ 3.1 miles in yesterday. I did it in parts as my DH decided to walk with me. He did for 2 miles but at a much slower pace, then I did the last mile at my normal pace. Calories 1937. At the top of my calorie range for 4 days this round which seems to equal maintaining…..😔 I need to stay around ~1500 for the rest of this round!
    6/7 DNW
6/8 230.4 ~ Not sure how I missed yesterday…Friday went for a 3+ mile walk. It was warmer than I anticipated so went a little slower but not as slow as Thursday. Calories 1645. Saturday was a busy day. Did go out to breakfast AND dinner, calories off the chart…. so this number on the scale most likely won’t hold. Calories 2706 We had our 2nd annual Lawn Olympics, our first time participating. It was a lot of fun with games including bocce, golf putting, water balloon toss, *kitten*(bag toss), beer pong (without the beer). It was a lot of fun and we finished 4th out of 12 teams! I didn’t walk yesterday as i knew it would be a busy and long day but i will today and I will get out early before it gets warm.
    6/9

@deepwoodslady ~ love the picture of Owen. Very cute and such personality!

@Skyleen75 ~ Very odd/interesting occurrences during that storm!! And yes, after huge meals yesterday, fruit and salad sound like a plan!

@SModa61 ~ {{{hugs}}} to you, your Mom and family. I’ve said the same thing many times about people advocating the health care for others. It’s critical!

@Chapter_3 ~ love the picture! Enjoy your vacation, back on plan when you get home!

"Your body is not a project—it’s a partner."

    💜 MY MISSION STATEMENT 💜

Show up for myself daily—with strength, grace, and purpose.
Choose progress over perfection and stay the course.
Honor my body through movement, nourishment, and belief.
Each step moves me closer to my healthiest, happiest self. I
am strong. I am steady. I am unstoppable.

    Rnd 298 SW 133.0

6/8  132.5  Going to have coffee with the neighbor ladies in an hour then to DD#2 to meet with my quilty girls to work on our challenge project.  10 weeks to wedding of DGS#1. Would love to be down 10# by then. There!! I have put it out into the universe!!

    Show Up - 10 of 10 posts

    Weigh daily

    Post body composition twice

Tanita scale: Fat 22.3% / Water 55.0% / Lean calc 22.7% Waking is the best time to get on the scale until I'm back at my "goal weight". Mid day fluctuations aren't informative right now. However, it's more important to weigh daily. When I skip things go haywire.

    6/5 - 157.8 lbs

Tanita scale: Fat 23.1% / Water 54.3% / Lean calc22.6% Over ate yesterday. Bananas always show on the scale with immediate effect.

    6/6 - 154.8 lbs

Tanita scale: Fat 22.7% / Water 54.5% / Lean calc 23.8% No comments today & no time for browsing yet. Wishing everyone well. 🙂

    6/7 - 154.6 lbs

Ditto yesterday, mostly. I'm so 😩 tired. It's been a decent day in general. I had a reasonable dessert and did well on protein. What I really need is energy and ambition. A maid, gardener and personal assistant would be even more helpful.

    6/8 - 154.0 lbs

Overnight I had a couple more desserts and dessert for breakfast. Poor sleep habits really can lead to over eating.

Today is for cutting back. This will be a week of eating light in advance of an upcoming food frenzy. I should have began last week but I lost track of time.

Planning ahead for holidays, vacations, and special occasions has helped me keep the pounds off long term. Unfortunately, I have this ten to twenty pound fluctuation every few years.

    Not random.

    No mystery.

I get sloppy with my routine and let go of the good habits. Here I am, living it again. 🥴

@musicsax We have been in Las Vegas for over 15 years and DH got our/his first jury summons about a week ago. The law here says you can be permanently exempted at 70. Fortunately (?) he realizes that he has trouble at this stage of life and called for the exemption. His rotten eating habits and the stress of the last 2 years have not helped him.

6/7-141-Yard work this morning then to a birthday party at a tap house with a taco truck. I am having a smoothie before I leave and will drink water only and leave early. Beer and a taco wagon sounds like a disaster for sure.

06/07-190.4 ✅ - (Trend Weight: 192.7) A nice little drop this morning.

🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️06/08-192.4 ❌ - (Trend Weight: 1917) Well, there’s my typical couple of pound gain after travel/restaurant/sitting. Hopefully it won’t take more than a couple of days to come back off. The movie Lilo & Stitch was really good. I think most all adults and children alike would enjoy it. I stayed away from the drinks and snacks at the theater but not away from the dessert table at Golden Corral. My bad.

be happy because I feel that I have made the round count at the end

I need to remain consistent - it does work! Good luck for success everyone.

    6/9141.6 – (trend 141.7) 0.4 pounds lost. 10.8 miles walked.

    👍👍This is NOT A DIET. It’s a LIFESTYLE & I AM WHAT I EAT!!!!! 👍👍.

    6/07 173.6
    6/08 174.2

6/09 174.4 The weekend got me. Definitely not as terrible as it could have been. This round does trend down, even if I ended at the same number as last round.
I realize I prefer last Monday’s big high number after a huge planned brunch day. This weekend was just two drinks every afternoon and free for all on snacky foods. It’s a bad pattern.

DH feels like he needs to have constant snacks available. If I remind him what a problem it is for me the snacks disappear for a few days but creep back on the counter over time.

I know it’s my choice to shovel it in my mouth. I need my 5am will power to hold the course all day. I can still have plenty of treats just not the mindless unsatisfying ones.

All together not a bad round. I just have to keep going.

Sister joined for a few hours in the rest of the afternoon, but otherwise was alone all day fielding mom’s needs and concerns.

6/8 – 127.6 Not sure where this came from. Yes, I under ate yesterday, but 300 cals don’t lead to a one pound drop. Plan to do well today if for no other reason than I am going to finally do my annual labwork tomorrow morning.

6/9 – 127.0 Complete shocker. Let’s see if I can hold onto it for next round.

End of Round 298 count down: 97 days until the wedding!
