    Work stress definitely stinks, much worse words I could choose. I have to develop better calming skills for when one or two coworkers get under my skin. I did well with dinner out, only ate half my meal. Temps are much cooler today, makes it easier to prep the camper for the weekend.

    I wish I could take credit for this, but I'm currently on a diet of Saltines crackers and ginger ale, with the occasional Jello or toast with peanut butter on it. My stomach is not happy with much else. I had coffee today. So far, so good.

    I had an appointment with my nurse practitioner today. My blood pressure is good. I have to get some blood work done and also was referred to a chiropractor for my shoulder and elbow problem. I walked there and back and walked around at the food market. I bought some fruit and vegetables. I got an hour and 40 minute walk. It was much cooler today. It rained a bit. Glad it has cooled off. Might go to the gym for strength training tonight. Feeling better than yesterday.

    Went bouldering yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks and my hips are ridiculously achey this morning. Rashly agreed yesterday to go again with the grandkids today - I think much time will be spent in the cafe and on avoidance tactics 😂. Have a good Saturday everyone

    @tishsmith101 I am so happy for you that the chemo is not giving you any negative side effects. That's fantastic. HAVE FUN ON YOUR TRIP! Sounds like a blast. oh , and also, now I want a trampoline.. when I was a kid I wanted one but it was a huge no from my parents, because I was a bit accident prone as it was..

    @SofaKween you are brave, to tackle bouldering..That is not something I have ever really done, atleast not on purpose but did have one experience while hiking in AZ one time (unplanned) good on you even if you do find ways to escape on day 2!)

    I had Friday off and spent most of it catching up on getting the guest room and bathroom all cleaned up from last two weeks. It takes some time to get all the bedding washed and put back on. I still have some to finish today. There were alot of extra blankets involved because the teenager made herself a "nest" on the floor where she liked to sit and read. ( apparently that is better than out in the living room on an actual couch?)

    I am working on doing digital declutter this morning and decided to give Amazon photos a try. I have tried dropping my files from my phone to my laptop but it doesn't seem to work, it often stops up half way through and then I have to start over. My phone is so full I can't even get updates right now. Its mostly photos and videos clogging it so I have to do something. If anyone has any other good ideas, please share. So many of the videos /photos are just junk and need to be deleted. I feel like I go through and mass delete pretty regularly but its never enough! So far its still uploading about 1400 items. Taking forever because my internet is not the fastest.

    Up a little bit today but given how i ate yesterday that isn't totally surprising.

    Went with dad to the farmers market yesterday morning so he could find his pies (its a bit of a thing). We found a carrot cake and a pie. He likes his dessert . He should not be eating 90% of the food choices he makes given the heart stuff but try telling him. We did cut into the carrot cake when we got back and I did have a piece.

    Lunch ended up being on the run because I had to go to the grocery store and ended grabbing deli fried chicken 8 piece that brought back to share with the hubby and our contractor/friend who is helping us with the roofing project. So far I am 2 for 2 on the meal failures.. then dinner .. well , I had other plans, but ended up being a frozen pizza that had plenty of salt. Time just got away from us and we were both tired. The hubby is heading out for an international trip Monday morning for a week so I will be running the farm solo during that time. Its always a bit of an anxiety builder for me when I am here alone trying to keep up with everything but it will be fine.. nonetheless we are hustling around trying to get everything done before he goes. The list is long!

    Today is a workout day. and probably going to need a MIC shot to keep my energy levels up.

    Oh.. the pictures to Amazon photos seems to be working. I am down to 160 photos left to transfer over and then I can delete them off my device. Our internet is snail slow so the upload process is taking a while.

    Eating butter tarts….3 in 2 days. They’re very calorie dense. I need to freeze the rest. I didn’t want to weigh this morning as I’m sure I’m up. I’ve developed a habit where I have a treat every day. It’s setting me back. I guess I could have a smaller treat. It’s hard to have half a butter tart. I will just stick them in the freezer now!

    April 25 - lost 2 pounds

    May 25 - gained 1 pound

    1 June - 12.04. Disappointed with myself for last month. Need to try harder this month.

    08 Jine - not doing well cannot get back on track.

    10 June - 12.01 !! not really sure how, not been weighing but been very busy with work so not eating so much.

    11 June - 12.01 suprised that the weight loss is still holding

    18 June - 12.02 - I am really finding it so hard to get motivated this time around

    23 June 12.00 - Doing better 1 pound to goal this month.

    30 jun - 12.00 not going under 12 stone this month but close.

    Have met my June goal on some days, so the trend is down and I’m happy with that.  Just a short walk today - too hot for me, looking forward to Wednesday when then temperature drops back down to being more normal for the time of year.

      Happy to have hit my June goal and seen some real progress. The vacation was a good reset after a long plateau.

    Very happy to have met my June goal and slightly exceeded. My UGW is 150 so I am so close..

    I was thinking back to when I started this process a year ago February /March essentially (while recovering from two surgeries and so fed up with how I looked and felt)

    I have done some things outside of the box for sure. I have made a lot of decisions about my health that fall outside of what the medical community recommends because I became frustrated with being told eat less, exercise more which is not exactly helpful advice. Honestly most doctors have little to no training on nutrition and exercise. As a female in perimenopause, there is so much more to it than that. I have and continue to do a ton of research, including delving into peptides for anti aging benefits and general health improvements. The whole world of peptides is fascinating. And since Big pharma has no way to make money off of them, they aren't promoted by the medical community.

    I got my phone and photos cleaned up ALOT which is good but still won't have enough space to even get the latest iphone updates. I guess I need a new phone with more memory or buy more storage (ofcourse).. so annoying..

    Also In this process of all this clean up, my hubby and I both discovered the same issue, that google has deleted a number of emails that were housed within our folders/labels. They are unrecoverable, with google stating that reason was that somehow the account was accessed and items were deleted. Yet, when I do a security check up on my account, there are no issues. I changed my pw anyways but I have lost some very important emails. And they are no in the "all mail" folder either. Anyone else ever have this happen? I have never experienced this with gmail. They aren't supposed to delete messages! Now i have lost some important items.

    Weighed and was pleasantly surprised that I had not gained. I did a 40 minute strength training workout yesterday. Felt a little shaky afterwards but felt great.
