any tips or help with motivation to lose 25 lbs?

I’m 18 years old, female, 5’8 and currently 164 lbs. i have been unhappy with my body all of my teen years and am trying to become more toned, fix bad eating habits, and reach around 135-145(whatever I feel best at) I was wondering if anyone had any tips or help with motivation :) I do strength training/ occasionally pilates around 4 times a week and am eating about 1,500 calories a day. so far I have lost about 3 lbs over 3 weeks! i’m just afraid that I won’t be able to actually lose all the weight. I only get around 4,000 steps a day, but does anyone have any tips besides walking, or similar success stories for motivation? thanks so much!

Success begets success. Sounds like you’re in a good place because you’ve structured this to allow yourself to be successful. I say carry on and don’t over complicate this with too many more goals yet.

Sounds like you're doing it right! I'd just say keep doing what you're doing and you'll be motivated more as you begin to feel better and healthier. Researching health and wellness has always motivated me to try to keep active and eat nutritious. It's really a lifelong process, and I'm still learning..I've had a few times in my life where I've derailed a bit, but if you learn to love healthy foods and being active you'll keep yourself in line.
