Well I donโt know what to make of this morningโs dramatic number drop on the scales from yesterday.ย ย I slept badly again in the heat and there were quite a few trips to the bathroom so maybe itโs down to dehydration.ย ย I do have a mild headache so Iโll make sure to increase my water intake during the course of the day.ยย Fortunately today is the last day of high temperatures here, tomorrow we are back to a more normal 24C/75F for a few days before creeping back up.

Hubby made it Europe safely, no major flight issues, only a few minor delays. I hate flying so that part always makes me nervous. Especially since lately planes seem to be falling out of the sky or exploding frequently..

My real goal for this month is to follow my meal plans and stop eating after supper.
I'm just starting going back to work after being off the last year for breast cancer treatment. My struggles involve eating when I'm tired, bored, or stressed.
I lost my baby weight on MFP eons ago after my second. I tried after my 3rd but he has special needs and I would stress eat before every medical appointment of his. That was over 10 years ago.

7/02 174.5I came home from camping without a big gain this time Woohoo!!! Hubby kept asking for lighter meals and we did pretty well. I've been trying to do more low carb again recently and found some keto thin bagel slices. They made great breakfast sandwiches. Chicken stir fry tonight for the weekly dinner with our sons and their wives (no rice for me).

Had lots and lots of outdoor time yesterday and ended up feeling like I had mild heat stroke. Not fun. My legs feel like they are carrying a ton of water. Feeling ok today tho.3 -

Night time eating last night. Moving on for today. Got my yoga class in early this morning. Plan for the morning is making muffins for my son (autistic and very restrictive with food) and off to work this afternoon.

I went to see a movie yesterday. Mission Impossible. I packed sliced strawberries and nuts for snacking instead of getting popcorn, chocolate or candy! I also walked to the movie theatre and back so an hour and a half walk. The movie was your basic summer action movie. It was kind of slow and a bit boring in the first half but picked up and became entertaining.4 -

danifo0811 I usually just copy the username (the one to the right of the user picture of the person I'm trying to tag) and paste it directly in the comments box. I used to "@" people, but that hasn't worked correctly for me for a while.
Many of us are using an outside document on our computers to format our posts, since the new coding here on the website seems to have a mind of its own. :) Hopefully the above makes sense.4 -

Yesterday I just didnโt have it in me to exercise. Was feeling like garbage, possibly due to overheating the day before. Hoping to get on the trampoline and weights today.

7/3- 159Hmm, I don't like what is happening hereโฆ might need to back off the ice cream? Or is it water retention? not sure . last two nights for dinner I have had annies boxed "protein" max and cheese (probably full of salt) and my homemade turkey meatloaf. it will be chicken and salad tonight..
I have been staying on track with my workouts and since I am running the place solo I am more than getting my 10K steps in daily. Last two nights shoveling manure, mowing the yard (hand mower), dragging hose to water the trees, and pushing the wheelbarrow around in the heat (total sweatfest) I did have a couple of small servings Mon/Tues of ice cream but I didn't go crazy. Its been hot here and ice cream is my downfall this time of year ; doesn't seem to play nice with me .
I might need to resort to frozen yogurt or some other decent alternative I guess. I really want to get one of those Creami machines but I hate adding more gadgets to my kitchen since I don't have a ton of storage or counter space. (and will I ever use it or will it sit there like the instapot because I hate it!)

I did my fitness class this morning and had work this afternoon. Return to work is going well and I no longer need a nap after. My first week back, I only worked 2 days for 3 hours and I slept for about 15 hours after that. Yesterday and today were better for snacking in the evening.
ManifestingToday Thanks. I've had a few times where I've come back to MFP after being away for awhile and they've done weird things with formating, the forums, the app etc.
