Bouldered yesterday morning – only the easy routes – and then weights at the gym in the afternoon. Today will just be walking here and there whilst my quads recover. Am thinking about going back to C25K - would only be one or at most two 'runs' a week. Definitely seeing a bit of muscle gain but my cardio could do with some work.3 -

Anti inflammatory challenge going relatively well except for accidentally eating wheat last night. I misread the menu. But I managed to avoid French fries for probably the first time in my life.

7/5- 157.8I opted to bow out of both plans I had initially planned to participate in (kayaking on the lake to watch the firework dispaly) and a BBQ some friends (well more like acquaintences) had invited me to. Instead had a nice quiet dinner with my parents. Honestly I was tired all day and had little to no energy. I did a bunch of farm chores , took to dog for a short walk and that was about it. I was worried about the horses and the fireworks but luckily my neighborhood was quiet.. but I never know from year to year. We live way out but it doesn't keep the yahoo's from having big parties.
No ice cream , no dried mangoes, no alchohol.. Also no workout so going to get that in today, in fact right about in the next 15 mins!

Surprising myself at how I managed to avoid eating chips at my own party last night. Fried potatoes in any format are my weakness. But yeah @SofaKween I hear you, it’s annoying when we’re “good” and the scales are like yeah whatever 👎🏻 haha

Back for July after spending several days away with my sister….had loads of fun, eating a drinking and not tracking which always throws me way off balance.
Happy to be back - it’s my reset Sunday!

7/07 173.5Got out kayaking yesterday for the first time this season. Picnic lunch of leftover steak and some fruit. Hubby requested a walk after dinner and we should have brought water with us. Wow was it humid! Strength training today at lunch and elliptical before dinner.

Hubby gets home tonight from his trip but apparently running the place on my own does wonders for the scale. I forgot to jot down my workouts but I only did 2 in the last 4 days , but I was pretty busy with keeping things in order here on the our little farm by myself.
I did over work my left shoulder the other day doing weights and now its angry so I will have to careful on that . I noticed it during my workout I was using some bad form because I was upping weight and compensating all wrong.. That is the same shoulder I have some arthritis in so I'll be babying it for a couple of days now.

It was National Fried Chicken Day yesterday so my brother and I had some fried chicken take out. I rarely eat fried chicken so it was a treat. The scale bumped up though.

On track with exercise and mostly on track with meal planning. I finally got out to the garden this weekend to work on weeding. Slight detour yesterday with raisin bread.
HappyDonkey75 My stamina post chemo and radiation is terrible and new activities (even if they aren't strenuous) take so much out of me. When I started back at my exercise classes in February, the 1 hr class required a 3 hour nap after. It makes me really frustrated because I'm used to doing more and my youngest struggles to accept that. I took him bowling on Saturday and we did 7 games and he still wanted more.
