I ate 1,000 calories in cheese, salami and crackers after 9:00 pm last night. Shame. The rest of the day was just fine.I changed the long-dead gaskets on my smoker yesterday. It took two hours. They make it look so easy on the video.

Well, I forgot it was date night, and I can't believe how quickly the calories add up. During our movie and the football game, I ate over 1,300 calories.

@musicsax Thank you for the suggestion. I think the low water intake was a fluke. I usually have at least 100 oz but activity away from home base plus much lower temperatures and high humidity all added up to not drinking water. I have tried hot water but I’m not a big fan. I could drink coffee all day though. LOL

11/18 134.0 Today is DH’s 77th birthday. We’re going to lunch with our blind friend. Juan’s Flaming Fajitas for lunch and a margarita AND much needed RAIN! IT POURED!!

11/20 136.0??? Delayed reaction to fajita and margarita lunch on Tuesday? Or Blackberry Crown Royal last night? Or not drinking enough water as the temperature has dropped significantly. Tonight is community Thanksgiving dinner and I am taking my own meal because I don’t like sugar coated ham or turkey.

11/17: 171.7 📉I’m loving how this round ends the day before Thanksgiving. 🤣That could either be a good or a bad thing. 🤷♀️Got exercise in yesterday. I also made another new recipe—Salmon Cakes. I decided we need more Omega-3. In addition, we have lots of leftovers since I realized I misread the recipe and doubled it in the end. 😂
11/18: 172.1 📈No surprise. I had to get up extra early today. Such a busy day. Morning meeting, tap class in the afternoon, dinner out and theater tonight. Whew!
11/19: 171.3 📉Big surprise! I had a lot of calories left over when we went to dinner and out to the theater. My husband and I split the Creme Brulee. OMG! I was in heaven. I went to tap class in the afternoon. I am assuming that tap dancing is what is making this possible??? The calories burned is huge! 😳 I questioned that when I started, but I am usually very sweaty afterwards. Plus, it doesn’t feel like it. I’m having so much fun and want to keep going.
11/20: 172.2 📈😂🤷♀️I know I did not get any exercise in at all yesterday…even though it felt like I was running non-stop. I’ll have tap class today with no eating out, so we’ll see what happens tomorrow morning.
11/21: 171.8 📉Tapped and stayed well under calories…mainly because my goal is not to eat my exercise calories. Helped DH rake 🍂 and finish that up. Pretty good number considering we also had 🥩last night.😋 It was a good day. Today is mani/pedi day and symphony tonight.

@Skyleen75 People fascinated in other cultures will be excited to hear “in Japan they do things like this.” But it’s nice you are cognizant of others’ feelings. I need to work on narrowing vacation down to about 5 pictures. Some trips are easy to do that and others not so much. I imagine Japan would be very hard to condense. 🎌🏯

11/20- 179.6 ❌ (Trend Weight: 181.3) I had a glucose drop last night and probably ate too many smarties to bring it back up. Otherwise my day and exercise were good. It seems like a lot of gain just for packs of smarties, but then again there is the technical thing that goes on with the glucose too. Today will be another good day. I’m not giving up my 170’s, not by a long shot! I will increase my carbs slightly and see if that helps the glucose. A friend is coming to put a new battery in the dead pick-up truck today so I can get air in the tire. It’s been sitting too long I guess. I hardly use it. I’ve never had it fixed on the spot, just at the local garage. However, it’s dead where it sits. So hopefully the repair/replacement will be okay.
🦃🦃🦃🦃 11/21- DNW ↔️ (Trend Weight: DNW) No weigh Friday but it was a good day yesterday. Ended up with OMAD because the meal would be more calorie/carb heavy. That kept it at goal. 30 minutes of planned exercise. Horrible sleep last night due to no blood getting to my feet and toes (again). This happens several days per week. I am thankful and grateful that the past couple of nights have been good but last night was truly a nightmare. I need the opposite of elevating them and it seems there is nothing that can be done unless I just stand upright in the middle of the room and try to sleep! I loved seeing all the family photos this morning. Thank you @Chapter_3 and @_JeffreyD_ .

1/17: 159.0 This is my last super crazy busy week, hopefully for a good while! Constant mantra in my head, "you just have to make it through this week, you just have to make it through this week". I'm going take a few minutes this morning and write out a big list for the week and tape it on the wall and cross of things as I accomplish them, think it will help to see that list get smaller and smaller as the week progresses. Some of this is work related, which is what it is, but a lot is stuff I have put on myself - so I have to remind myself, you are this busy because these are things you enjoy & want to do BUT if doing them stresses you out what's the point? So, taking a little mindfulness moment to take a deep breath & enjoy the chaos.

DNWNeed to move the scale out of our family bathroom, too many mornings when it's time for me to weigh, my husband is there getting ready for work and then I miss my morning weigh-in.11/19: 159.6 No reason, hitting my macros & eating in a deficit - but this is my bodies standard reaction to a big drop (lost .7 on Monday), to bounce back up and then slowly ease back down. Recognizing a pattern is one of the good things about daily weighing - keeps the panic away with these fluctuations happen.

11/21: 158.6 Happy to see this drop this morning! Yesterday was an off-kilter day, too busy, and didn't get to log my food or track, but was just mindful with my eating and happily it worked out! Baking two pies today for my early Thanksgiving this weekend.

11/17 - 129.0 🏃🏻♀️ Starting this round higher than the last. However this is pretty good for me after a weekend. Today was probably a wash - ate close to or slightly above maintenance including eating my exercise calories. My lunch was accidentally huge and I still had snacks. Tomorrow’s a new day!
11/18 - 129.8 🏃🏻♀️📝🚫 This was a surprise gain, but perhaps still packing it on from the weekend. It is only Tuesday, after all, and we went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Bills game on Sunday. Today my main goal is to drink a lot of water. Then at some point a dog walk and strength training.
11/19 - 129.0 🏃🏻♀️📝 Spiraling a bit today. Had a follow-up breast ultrasound after my first mammogram a couple weeks ago. The ultrasound identified a 5mm mass but it's too small to tell what it is. Now I'm to wait 6 months and go for a follow-up mammogram/ultrasound. The logical part of my brain knows this is probably because I don't have any baseline imaging established and that could have been there forever. The other part of my brain is freaking out and obsessing. What am I supposed to do for those 6 months?? My MIL suggested seeking a second opinion but I'm not sure how that works in this case (and insurance-wise). There is another hospital chain with imaging nearby but I don't have a relationship with any of their providers. Trying not to panic while also giving myself grace to panic a little bit.
11/20 - 128.0 🏃🏻♀️Feeling a lot better and less distracted today. Leaning heavily on the 98.something% chance that everything is fine. I don't usually WIN things with a less than 2% chance so I can't and won't dwell on the possibility of losing in this case.
Tonight I'm taking my 6 year old to the Wicked For Good premiere. Our local theater is having a whole thing with special drinks and treats and photo ops. Mainly just planning a dog walk for activity but may throw something else in.
11/21 - 128.6 I think? Forgot to write it down 🏃🏻♀️ This week has been a wash is almost every way possible. I think part of my problem is that I don’t really despise where my weight is. I think strength training consistently has made my arms more muscular (they’ve always been big but I’m more accepting of this when there’s more muscle) but of course my belly is still holding on tight to some fat I’d like to shed. Just not super motivated at the moment! But being here consistently is making me less likely to allow myself to gain a bunch so for that I am very pleased. I just need to do a deep dive on what’s driving me. Hope everyone has a lovely Friday and weekend!
