OMG!! I lost another pound! Just don't ask me how. It's TOM and no exercise all week but I did limit my sodium so maybe that's it. This good news is so motivating. I know I need to keep working out if I want this to stay off.
I'm so happy for everyone who is losing. If you're struggling, just remember it won't last. We all go through the cycle of being down. Treat yourself with respect and kindness and do what you can when you feel better. The point is to keep going and things will get better. :flowerforyou:

Ebonia I think sometimes your body just needs rest as much as it needs a workout! Great job on your losses this week!
I am down .4 this week, which I am very happy about. I got a free workout with a trainer at my gym Wednesday. OMG, this guy was HUGE. The seams in his shirt were crying from all the strain of wrapping around his muscles. Anyway, I did a lower body workout with him and he KICKED my BUTT!! I wish I could afford to work out with a trainer all the time! OMG, I am so sore! To the point where my leg muscles shudder and twitch and I feel like I am going to fall down when I walk!! I must look like I am walking on two broken legs to other people! I love it though. But I was convinced my muscles were so damaged that they would be retaining pounds of water (maybe they are and I will see that loss next week!)
Now that I am getting closer to goal, I feel like I am seeing big changes. Not so much in "shrinking" but in that my muscle definition is really coming out. That makes me feel so much fitter than feeling "small." I like lifting something heavy, and glancing at my arms and seeing my muscles work. Or hearing my 11 year old son say, "OMG, MOM, you have a 6 pack!!!" and then helping him do some exercises because he wants to build muscles too. I hope I don't sound arrogant, I am just finally getting to a place where I feel good about myself and want to celebrate that with my friends
Let's all have another great week, and get stronger, and healthier, and live longer so we can annoy all the people around us for many more years with our healthy talk!

Hmmm down a measly .2 lbs. Can that actually be counted? I can pee that much..
Sorry, just getting a little discouraged. My goal was to be at 145 by Aug 22, but I don't think I will see that goal met. I have been around 149 (either above or at, never under) for 2 months now. I think something has to change! So....
Goals for this week:
1. Cut out the bad snack foods!
2. Increase my daily push ups and crunches
3. Increase water consumption
4. Move more0 -

What would the world be like if a plane stopped mid flight? You can see your destination through the clouds but the plane just stopped your going to try everything in your power to convince the pilot to get to your destination, now just think your that plane don't stay stuck in the clouds!!

I agree w/cnbethea- gigi your results really ARE amazing! I know how frustrating plateaus can be! I was on one for a while when I had my hernia surgery and it was so frustrating! You two should join the 21 day clean eating challenge. I am on day 5, and I am seeing big changes already!

Hey everyone! Well, I had another hectic week. Between prepping for camping and going to my cousin's wedding on Saturday. The wedding was an hour and a half away but our truck broke down about 1/2 an hour away in the middle of the night. My husband was working and had to leave to drive an hour to pick us up. We went camping the next day for a couple of days and he had to get the truck fixed so it was just me, my mom, and the kids. My kids don't know what to do with themselves without electronic stimulation. Relax? What's that!?!
I ate crappy and a lot but I thought I was working it off. Nope. I gained 3 pounds. It could be the sodium, stress, and dehydration. I drank a lot of water and no alcohol but the sun kicked my butt. So recovery from camping took another 2 days of being tired. Too tired to work out. I finally worked out last night. It felt so good!!! I hope the gain doesn't stick this time.
I will try to catch up with everyone tonight! I got so engrossed in MFP that I was ignoring my kids so I had to back off a little.

Thanks cnbethea & tattoodfreek .... Its has been a long road but im so happy with the results that i just want to keep going!!! I think 120-125lbs is were i need to be so im going to keep pushing till im there!!! My over all goal as of right now is to be at least 125 by my birthday which is Dec. 15th!!!! Hope i can make it!!!
