Im 5'9 I started at 226 now Im 204. My goal is 170 but might evaluate as I get closer. After my first child I went down to 148 and was starting to look too thin...my friend would say all legs and boobs! Now 36 years older I feel 140/50 would be far to much to lose...for me anyway.
Fantastic to see all the losses on here, what a great job you have all done it gives me so much encouragement!.

I'm 5'8, started at 257pd and aim to get back to at least 165, and at a push 154. Currently at 233 so have a way to go but I will get there!

I have broad shoulders and carry a lot of weight through my middle, more of a medium to large frame.

I'm 5'9, currently weigh 146 and I want to get down to 137lbs, current pants size 10. I startet at 156lbs. For me it's very interesting to see that many at a heigher weight can fit into much smaller pants size than I do now. Hopefully I will drop another size but the I have broad hips and hips and thighs is very I carry my weight :grumble:

I don't really have a goal. I started at 189 and 5'7"ish and I am now 165... Might go another 10 lbs or so. Mostly working on body recomp. Lifting heavy really has changed my body.

This... started at 181.5 thought I wanted to be 135 again... then changed my thinking. I don't care what the scale says I weigh - I just want the body :)

I've been 125, could easily have done with dropping 5lbs. I have a very small frame and look very disproportionate with the smallest amount of fat on me.

I'm 5'8, I recently measured my wrist to find my frame size.... Small frame.

Ideal weight listings for small frame 5'8 are 126-135. Another site said 126-140.

Right now I'm aiming for 130.

I'm 36 and am trying hard to crack into the 30's, hovering around 141. Santa baby.....

My body feels better than before but I feel I still have more to lose.

Currently 137lbs......... I have lost 4lbs before and got to 133lbs but I cant maintain it, I am 5ft 8.5

I think I could lose 2lbs and maybe just maintain it and tone up. I can get my weight down, but cant keep it down for too long, and I really have to CUT BACK to get down

    Hi to all the 5'8"ers!:flowerforyou:
I started MFP at around 152 and have since changed my desire from weighing something particular to making better food choices, exercising regularly and more intensely, drinking more water and decreasing my body fat percentage.
"MFP !" will be my answer when someone asks me what was great about 2013! :drinker:

I'm 5'8" and 159. Started at 172 and goal is 145. I lift heavy and do cardio twice a week 30-60 minutes. I was 132 when I was younger but think that will be kind of hard to maintain now. We will see.
    160.

I agree frame is everything. This was me around 130, which might sound like a low number to some but it was ideal on me. I maintained this weight easily when I was a health nut, so I think it's healthiest too. I actually feel like weighing more makes me LESS curvy, because I lose my waist and my normally nice *kitten* turns to cottage cheese. lol

At my highest weight (158) my face even looked worse and turned round. I got a beer belly and bat wings, not cute. lol I just don't get why some of my friends get flat out angry if they find out I'm losing weight, because I was much happier before, and they never said I was too thin at 130. I shouldn't have to defend what makes me happy and feel sexy, you know?

I completely agree. I'm the same height and 125ish is my healthy.

I'm 5'8" too and 216 right now and a size 14. I have quite a bit of muscle and don't look my weight and have no idea what I want my goal to be I'm thinking around 160 to 170 though. I'd be happy in a size 8 to 10. I don't want to lose all my curves either!

Somewhere between 150 - 170. I have pictures of me at 140 (years ago) and I was too slender for my build.

I have been 135, with eating no food. I feel more comfortable at 150.

However, at 135, I was smoking hot!
