    Squirrel bacon is great. There's a reason why they call squirrels 'tree pigs' you know.

    Squirrel bacon is great. There's a reason why they call squirrels 'tree pigs' you know.

    Technically, bacon is cured, smoked, pork belly. I'm not a huge bacon fan, though. I'd rather just make squirrel stew. (I did not know squirrels were called "tree pigs" tho)

    My favorite way to enjoy my meaty lifestyle is to have a BIG breakfast on a weekend that consists of scrapple, bacon, and Canadian bacon with a dash of egg and a piece of bread or something similar. Doesn't happen as often as I'd like, but that is because I eat all the bacon before the weekend and don't wanna get dressed to go buy more bacon! :sad:

    also, in for the bacon pics and talk of "squirrel bacon".......

    I've never heard either. Maybe it's a regional thing, or I've just been too sheltered.
