If I wanted my husband's opinion, I'd give it to him.
For crying out loud, why would you want to marry a loser who will put up with that crap???

Cause I like a man who knows his place: exactly where I tell him to be.

Jeeeze. All that muscle is making you forget all about how a wife needs to be subservient. Put the dam weights down before you ruin your marriage.

I think it was a joke. People joke like that here on the MFP.

I do prefer men with individual opinions.
This does, however, make dealing with more than 2-3 boyfriends at once kinda tricky.. Good thing I have a good memory.

Ehhh... Call them all "babe" and they'll never know the difference.

That's what I do while I beg them for reassurance that they find me attractive.
    You're attractive.

The only male opinion I care about is attached to the man I married. What everyone else thinks is none of my business. That said, I think you look great. I tell my girls (13) to learn to like themselves and then they can find a man who agrees. If he doesn't agree, move on.

Nope. My opinion is his opinion. I like my body so he likes it. Individual opinions need not apply.

I agree with this when it comes to my body. But that's with the prerequisite that a man or woman finds me beautiful in the first place. Any changes I make to that are my business, not theirs. Physical attraction and beauty are not the same thing!

    I don't joke.

Just have a pretty face, a nice behind and look for the most part like you value yourself. Smile often. Can you do that OP? Is that too much to ask? Oh, and don't leave the kitchen unless I tell you. I'll have a power rack put in beside the stove. You'll get upper body work from all the sandwiches and bending over to lift things from the stove will work your hamstrings and glutes. I just don't want you to neglect your quads. See I'm nice like that.

Oh good grief. It was a fun thread asking for male opinions. I didn't get the idea that anyone in that thread was begging for approval or planning their fitness goals based on the answer, and I read through all of it as of about 90 minutes ago. Unless simething took a major turn since then, getting twisted over a thread like that is the kind of thing that gives feminism a bad reputation.

For the record, my husband generally prefers blondes, curves, and long hair. I know this because I've asked him these types of questions randomly over the years, just for the heck of it. I'm still built like a 4x6, and have dark hair that up until the last few months has been at my earlobe a or shorter. We'll celebrate 10 years together in October. Sometimes a question is just a question for the fun of it.
    Who are you?

    Just wondering.

Because it seems like an awful lot of people here (men and women alike) can't decide what they want to look like until they know what everyone else who might be attracted to their gender thinks about it.

I love my body because it's MY body that I worked hard for, not because it's Jessica Biel's body or Gwyneth Paltrow's body or Jennifer Lawrence's body. I love it because it can pick up heavy things and it can sweat and run and punch and survive things it never thought it could have survived. I love it because it is strong and will become even stronger. Because it looks good and will look even better. Because it's a visible manifestation of my will and determination and desire.

But hey men, is that ok with you? I mean, I hope you like that stuff.

I have always had much respect for you!
    Great post.:flowerforyou:

Really!? Haven't we discussed this enough? How many times do I have to tell you to get my permission prior to engaging in independent thought?
