Thought I'd add my own motivational quote of the day::happy:
Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So What? Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful. :flowerforyou:
Good night all:yawn: I hope everyone has a good Friday! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0 -

Not going so well this month.. gotta pick it up!0 -
Tack on another 6 miles. I had to cut it short. I felt the lateral fascia in my left foot start to strain. I can't afford the injury. With the holidays coming up, I need to be able to burn off Pumpkin Pie. :-)
I hope your foot is okay. NoNoNo getting hurt before the big food days. I'll probably take my pie with me on my walk and eat it while I try to get four miles done in an hour. That works, right? Calories in...calories out???
It was sunny and beautiful today. Walked 6.41 miles

You can take me out of the challenge. I have severe bronchitis that the doctor is concerned is turning into pneumonia. I can barely do day to day activities without losing my breath so no way I can speed walk/run. Sorry.0

-SOOO....what do geeks do when they have spare time on their hands?? They play with spreadsheets. Sad, but true.
It's not sad. *looks at her FOODANDEXERCISE spreadsheet*
-I'm gathering that the aim is to get moving but how does one join and what is involved? Why are there $$ in the *kitten* for the title? It is raising money for something??
Surrre. You can send your donations to me. Kidding. They're not raising money. I guess it's there to not offend ppl or to avoid getting in trouble for using profanity. *shrugs* I think that you just have to tell the challenge leaders what your goal is. Good luck.
-anaconda469, you are killing it! Less than two miles left. Congrats.
-dcmat-WOW! :noway: Fifty miles almost each day.
-Great job, Laura6887! You're halfway there.

I went back out in the evening to shave some time off of my 5k time and took a minute off! I had already ran and biked that morning, and it was a bit warm that evening, so I’m hoping that it will be even easier for me to keep this up in the future. I’m calling today a rest day. You guys have fun.

Speed interval on the dreadmill this morning at the gym. :grumble:
3 miles in 20 minutes. I'm slowly getting use to it. I don't feel like dying every time; I guess it's a good sign. :ohwell: But I shouldn't have told my trainer today while she was with another client; my speed intervals went from 20 to 25 minutes.
Anyway, here's my updated thicker.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to run during the winter!!  (For real, really!)

Those last few miles were bothering me, so I went ahead and completed them...so I thought. I brought my bike in and was going to post my numbers and I had .10 mile left. Grrr. I hopped on the treadmill and did .15 miles, but that brought today's total to 6.66 miles and I didn't like that number, so I hopped back on the treadmill.
