The ultimate secret to weight loss

I've figured it out. Before losing weight I rarely ate ice cream or gelato or other frozen treats. Now I eat it nightly and I'm down 20 pounds.
Ergo, following the MFP logical property of correlation always equals causation, ice cream is a magical weight loss supplement.
Conclusion: We should all eat more ice cream.

I disagree. I ate pizza and drank beer twice last week and I lost over a pound - so that's more of an ultimate secret than ice cream. And I'm down more pounds total than you, so that makes me smarter about weight loss. *special snowflake music*0

You win the internet and life.

I agree, no really.
When I was heavy, I almost never at ice cream. I've had a pint (or more) every, single night for 2 years. I have hit all my weight goals, losing, gaining, & maintaining. Ice cream is clearly magic.0 -
I think you may be on to something! *grabs a spoon and some cotton candy ice cream*0

Is that what I'm doing wrong? I thought wine was my secret weight loss supplement!0

You make a compelling argument but Magrum is clearly the more special of us all, because his ticker reflects the most weight lost. A more impressive ticker is, according to MFP Logical Property of 'I don't like what you have to say', the most important thing ever.
Can't argue with MFP Logical Properties.0 -

Yep. I gained the weight without eating much ice cream. In losing and keeping it off, I eat ice cream regularly. Science!0 -

Once I ate a diet of chocolates and tea during the day and a regular dinner for a week and I lost 5 pounds. Clearly that's the way to go.
(Of course I felt like crap)0 -

Ice cream is superior because no one feels like crap after ice cream. Except lactose intolerant people. And they're just weird.0 -
So I guess more ice cream is needed to lose my last damn 5 pounds.
Should I take it orally or apply it topically ?0 -

Did you change your picture just for this thread? If not, that's even funnier.0 -

And my husband eats this by the container full (Seriously. Ate two containers the last weekend he was home) I suspect it's why he's having such a hard time putting weight on. Logic.

Apparently your skin can soak up the fat so you could do either. But it tastes better taken orally.0 -
I beg to differ....I substituted ice cream and chocolate chips for beer and nachos at the bar multiple nights of the week and got abs.0

Although ice cream(and the guilt freeness of eating it) has aided in my weight loss, the true magic comes from cheese fries.0

Seems legit.0

Funny but genuinely true.
More people would be more successful if they ate ice cream more often.0
