I was skinny fat all I wanted was to tighten some things up. I am lifting weights and that's going well. I am eating quite a lot about 2500 cals a day, and still I am losing weight. I am now 117 pounds and 5'7" No idea why I can't stop losing weight!

You might consider speaking with a physician about this continued weight loss.0
-
Eat a cup of ice cream every night. That ought to solve it.0
-
I need health insurance I already do B&J for the win0
-
Sounds to me like you are still not eating enough. Its too bad you can't see a doc, that would be a great option.0
-
Probably a tapeworm.1

I'm not doing the weight lifting thing but yeah, the weight is still dropping here and I've been in maintenance for around 4 months I hit a new low of 119.5lbs last week and I'm 5ft 6in. Still in the normal range, but only by a few pounds now. No advice, but let me know if you figure it out :laugh:0

I suppose I could ask my trainer what he thinks?0

Do you log "training sessions"?0

There is your problem, most likely.
There have been a couple of times in the past when I suddenly found that I couldn't stop losing weight. I'd set out to lose 5 lbs and end up losing 10 without being able to halt the downward progress after the 5. I think it had to do with the fact that I had gotten so used to eating to lose, that I wasn't upping my calories enough to maintain. I wish I had that problem now. :ohwell:0 -
Move to Canada! Then you can see a doc about anything for free! I can't imagine having to pay out of my pocket just to find out what's making me unhealthy.0

yeah it sucks I wish I could lol I bet it is a fantastic place to live0

Eat less. There's no way you'll get to starvation mode and stop losing weight on 2500 cals a day ....0
-
lol huh0

I'm baffled as to what the joke is, if there is one...
You are 5'7" and 117? I don't think so.
I have an autoimmune disorder and my body attacks my intestines. Sometimes I lose a lot of weight fast. But at 5'4" I got to 115 once and was weak & sickly. With absolutely no visible fat under my skin. If the profile pic is recent, you look to be of healthy weight and at your height, that's not 117.
If this is not a joke, go to a doctor. If you are eating 2500 cals a day and female, you should not be losing weight if already underweight.0 -
it says 1880 now I suppose that will work0
-
shrug that is what the scale says I have always been on the slight side0
-
"Average" weight for a 5'7" female is 123 - 163. Unless you have absolutely no muscle, which is good that you are addressing through strength training, then 117 is probably an unhealthy weight.
Are you really asking for advice? Go to a doctor if all of that is true.0 -
sorry but why are you being snippy? it was a real question no need to be rude0
