I must be heartless. Every time a character dies suddenly, I shrug my shoulders and either say "that was a brave move by the writers and producers" or "wonder who the actor pissed off on set."
Then I look over at my husband, and he is tearing up. Then I feel even worse.
Except when Mike died on Breaking Bad. That one got me.0 -
The death of DCI David Bilborough (played by Christopher Eccleston) on the TV series Cracker really threw me. I felt out of sorts about it for a couple of days.
The same thing happened when Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) died on Lost.
And, David Tennant's Doctor Who regeneration (into Matt Smith) was sad for me.0 -
John Coffey in the Green Mile.0

Marley. And that movie was played during the holidays as a family film. :explode: The jerks! Watch this movie and spend the night bawling your head off. :brokenheart: Oh, and Merry Christmas! :drinker:
100%!! The book had me bawling even more!!0 -
The Family Stone movie where it shows the next Christmas everyone is there and Diane Keaton is not, representing she has died. As a mom I always start bawling.0
-
Oh, and can I add a not death but so sad, when Steve Martin comes back to the train station and John Candy is there by himself in Planes, Trains and Automobiles. That is a real tearjerker for me.0

I blubbed like a baby when I read the scene with Dobby dying. I was ok with it in the movie, because I was ready for it.

If I hadn't already heard about how everyone you love dies in Games of Thrones and hadn't read the book, Ned Stark would have been up there.0 -

Him. I sob like a baby every time I see that episode. And the song that plays? Can't listen to it.0 -
Not an actual Dead but Disney got me as a kid with Balou the bear when he fights with shirkhan and the few moments were enough to bring me down into unstoppable tears!!!
As an adult: I even wrote a fanfic/songfic based on Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms" to overcome Boromirs Dead in The Fellowship of the Ring.... So I guess this one got me most...
Could not believe also, when Khal Drogo died, was waiting for the twist, that never came...0 -
