I got a hybrid bike this summer and started riding. It has rekindled my love of riding from childhood. Now it is going to snow so I ordered a spin bike from Nordic Track. I am excited to do spinning and keep in shape for riding our beautiful Colorado countryside this next spring. I have never ridden a spin bike, but have high hopes.0

Swapped out the back tire this a.m. & put the bike on the trainer for the winter, sadly. Still, I logged 45 min on it. I wish there was something I could attach to track "Miles" and not just time.0

November goal is 60 miles. I know it's really low, but for me, it's better than not having a goal. I'm not riding for weight loss anymore so there's that.
11/1 - 3 miles. Nice outside today, but my fatigue level was too high and the wind was too difficult to fight. Accompanied by She & Him, Volume 3 on the Walkman.

11/3 - 3.4 miles with Melissa Etheridge on the Walkman.
MTD = 6.4 miles.
Goal is 60 miles for November.

This photo below shows what claims to be the oldest Inn (Pub) in England. The pub is called the 'Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem' and dates back to 1189AD you can still enjoy beer and and drinks in there and is very popular again located in Nottingham and just below Nottingham Castle

First ride of the month, got soaking wet and covered in mud but loved every minute of it. Still loads of fallen trees blocking the route so I might have to start riding on the roads again until they are cleared away but the dirt tracks are so much more fun

Thanks for the post! I enjoy commuting to work. It is approximately 7 miles each way. Winds along Lake Michigan can be brutal... but hey, that's half the fun! I also enjoy winter riding. It won't be long before the studded tires get mounted! I will try to be realistic with my schedule, and shoot for a 50 mile goal this month........and 50 miles in December as well (on the snow). Ride on!0

In hopes of making this month more challenging, and creating that amazing cyclist body that I desire I have upped my standard to 200 miles....win or lose it really is how you play the game.
