Anybody else hate fruit?

I hate fruit...I tried juicing them for awhile and felt like I was defeating the purpose...so now I try to suck it up and add an apple a day at least0

I eat it for breakfast every day, then as an afternoon snack, and again after dinner.
Love , love love it!0 -
I like most fruits, but I just can't be bothered with it, I prefer to eat veggies.0

Pink lady apples by the way- are incredibly sweet.
Give one of those shot.
Nope ... Sweet Tango apples are where it's at ...
Also, OP needs to get some ripe fruit ... There are plenty of YouTube videos showing you how to pick ripe fruit or how to ripen it at home ...
can try both!!!
I've never seen a sweet tango apple! My store I don't think carries it- Pink Ladies just came back into season actually- SUPER excited. I love crunchy apples- but the granny's are too sweet for me any more (they used to- without fail be my favorite). Fuji and other red's are to bla- likea mouth full of gross.
So pink ladies it was!! I'll try Wegmans' when I can brave the store. I hate going there but if anyone has it- they probably do!0 -
I'm not a lover of fruit - I find it quite boring. I kind of have to gear myself up to have a piece. I eat half a banana with my breakfast porridge and would be quite content sticking with that.
Every now and again, I get a "thing" for apples and eat one a day ... grapes are okay ... but on the whole, meh :indifferent:0 -
I'm with all the posters who don't like sweet things, including fruit. I do eat it though, because an apple is a convenient portable snack.

I don't care much for sweet things either, like cakes, cookies, candies, chocolate etc; but fruit, well that is something different. I can eat fruit all day long if I don't control myself.0 -
I eat a lot of fruit in Summer. Winter? Not so much. I'm not much of an apple person, and bananas have too many calories.0

I love my vegetables, pretty much all of them (excepting okra), but I'm fussy about fruit.
I don't hate it all, but I don't like cores, pith, skin, seeds, pips and all of that stuff that comes with most fruit!
I hate the fuzz on a peach, the sour skin on a plum, the skin on an apple, the pith and seeds with oranges, the gritty seeds in passionfruit, the pith in pomegranates, the seeds and gritty middle of blackberries and so-on.
I'm OK with bananas, peeled and cored apple, ripe pears, and well peeled small juicy citrus like clementines.
I do however *love* soft fruit like mango, cherries, strawberries, and raspberries (though still not huge on the seeds!) especially mangos which I could eat every day :P0 -
fruit wrapped in bacon??????????????? bc everything wrapped in bacon is aaahhhhhhhhhhhhh
Prosciutto + Figs = Heavean0 -

Wow, that massively diverse collection of flavours, textures, volumes is "boring"
In my garden I have:
Apples - two varieties, one quite sweet, one quite tart. The sweet one has a lot less crunch in the texture.
Grapes - both black and white, the black somewhat more tart than the white
Blackcurrants
Blueberries
Redcurrants
Gooseberries
Rhubarb
All very different things.
That said much of this might be about shop bought fruit that really doesn't have a distinctive taste.0
