Btw I forgot your username but instead of buying the crates of water from costco because I heard they add stuff to the bottled water also...
Just get the bottles from your crates and fill them up with water. Place the water in the fridge... Drink it and then when its empty fill it back up and repeat.
You will save a ton of money and you get better quality water :P since nothing is added to the tap water.
You may want to buy a filter for your tap though

Unless you are allergic to vegetables, which I doubt you can be to all of them, you need to get used to them. Eating processed food all the time is what is screwing up your blood pressure. Nothing wrong with meat and potatoes but you cant just eat fried fish and mashed potatoes all the time. If you are really in this you need to make some major changes.0

There are a lot of vegetables out in the world, and I'm sure they don't all make you vomit. Try some new ones, and try different ways of preparing them. For example, I hate steaming and boiling most vegetables because it turns into tasteless mush, so I'd rather bake or saute my veggies.
You can also try vegetable juicing, or green smoothies. You mix in fruit, and don't even taste the veggies. The juicing removes the fiber, so it's not really a meal, but it helps you get some nutrients you might not otherwise get.0 -
I've been told by my doctor that I'm allergic to a few things (Cant actually remember which veg this was) But I've tried a ton of veg I also tried lettuce and came out in a rash
I don't mind carrots though and can eat them.
I'm allergic to nuts.
The reason they make me vomit though is just that I hate the taste...
I'm a very fussy eater.
I've been trying to cut down on portion sizes... Since I've always been a pretty big eater lol
And I haven't snacked.
I also cut out fizzy pop altogether and have been drinking water constantly.
I used to do thai boxing and was fine at that point but had to quit due to money issues.
(It was £50 a month)
I'm starting insanity hopefully.
But yeah I live with my mom atm and she always does the food shopping and just buys pre prepared foods such as fish fingers battered cod and chicken.
So I don't really know where to start with the food side of things.

High fat, high protein diet which really doesn't require you to eat any veggies. The catch is you need to give up carbs that means no more mash, no more starchy beer batter, no more cookies, candy, soda.

The think is also portion size. Its not that you eat ****ty food, its the amount of it. I'm guessing you don't weigh it out or record the calories.0 -
I am not all that crazy about a lot of vegetables either. I don't like the texture. How about fruit? If you have high BP you are likely going to have to cut back on sodium or go on BP pills or both.0

Try eating your own way, but focusing a lot more effort on getting in better, consistent workouts. Then it wont matter as much what you eat. You can worry about that when you decide it is time for (drum roll) PHASE TWO.0

Sorry about the gender confusion. I guess I was more frustrated with the forced fruit and veggie talk. Calories in and out and macronutrients. Sodium and processed foods? Ehh the research is more conflicting. Some folk's blood pressure responds to sodium and you could simply experiment on yourself by trying a few weeks on a sodium restricted diet and see if you respond. The real question is how high is your blood pressure? I would hope if it is dangerously high that the doctor would prescribe you something. Move more eat less. It does not matter if you have a couple foods you enjoy that some people may consider "processed" or unhealthy. We truly do not even know what is "healthy" we just think we have some idea. What really matters is your caloric intake and macronutrient profile get in enough protein. Consistency is the key. It is not those one or two days a year or holiday eating that result in weight gain its the other 300 days. I also started insanity last night...
My legs are aching and I pushed myself really hard and tried to do my best.
I couldn't even do one push up though
I made it all the way through the video though. Barely.
Threw up after I finished exercising. (Not used to it since I left thai boxing)

That's the effect tins of Heinz vegetable soup have on me too - and I suggested vegetable soup! You'd enjoy homemade soup, blended so it's smooth more than that tinned stuff. I gave you some recipe suggestions - it's really easy to make. If you don't have a blender make it smoother using a potato masher.
If you threw up after exercise it suggests you were pushing yourself too hard and / or had eaten too much or too recently.
I think you need to build up your strength, stamina and endurance gradually, take a rest or scale back your efforts when you need to.0 -

It was probably eating too recently as I ate something about two hours before... But I pushed myself as hard as I could go which is what he tells you to do on the dvd lol
I couldn't do any push ups but could do about 43 switch kicks etc
I cant lift myself with my arms though
Was alright at the power jacks but could only do about 11.0 -
My mom mainly buys pre prepared food because its cheaper but I have asked a few times lol
Cheaper than what? Restaurants? When I quit buying pre-packaged stuff, I saved us over $200 per month on the grocery bill. It's cheaper to cook for yourself than to pay for food prep.0 -

Logical, I am the same way. I am DEADLY allergic to peanuts and nuts, so that rules out all the nuts that everyone always suggests for me to eat.
I also do not eat any vegetables or fruits at all. The most that I get would be the sauce from pizza or the tomato puree in 57 sauce and A1.
With that being said, I am still always able to meet my goals and stay within my limits and still lose weight. I know there are people on here that will bash the way that I eat and try to give their opinion that I need to change it. However, when I get my yearly physical, myBP and Cholesterol is always great. So I am happy that it works for me.0 -

Today I ate:
Bowl of 2 weetabix - Semi skimmed milk - No sugar
And
Potato Wedges and Chicken Dippers.
Now I doubt I will eat again today unless I get really hungry and if I do I'll probably eat 1 weetabix again with no sugar.
That is a whole lot better than what I used to be like where I'd eat takeaway every day or stuff like that...
I was a lot skinnier and was even underweight for my height and was told I needed to put on weight and back then I was eating the same as I am right now...
But then I started eating takeaway etc to bulk up.
Then got 2 stone overweight (My current size)
I'm 6 ft 5 so I never really noticed much until I went to the doctors.0 -
Also forgot to add that I've started insanity and am hoping to stick to it :P
If it actually works and I carry on eating like I do now... And try to improve it a bit more... I should reach my goal of 13 stone by january.0 -

Saying "fix it" is not pointless. It's another choice you have to make. If you are an adult, you have choices to make. Try something new. Try it again. Try it prepared a different way. But stop asking for advice and then telling people that you can't do it because you're fussy. Realize that you choose not to do it because you're fussy.
You're telling us that, at 18 years old, you already have medical issues stemming from a poor diet. You can fix them or make excuses due to your self-imposed limitations. It's your choice.0 -

Several people on here have not told me what I want to hear and actually told me the opposite... However, I listened to their suggestions and have tried a few. Why? Simply because they were respectful about what they said and were not being rude about it and gave me honest suggestions and tips.

How have you come to know so much about produce prices in the US compared to England? Did you live here previously? Or did you just do a substantial amount of research? What part of the country did your data come from? I'm sure you're aware of our varying climatic conditions depending on the region.0 -

Time to grow up and eat your vegetables. They are a necessary part of a healthy diet. There are hundreds of vegetables to choose from. They will not all make you vomit.0
