    I guess that is the difference between living up north and living in the south Hun! It's a term of endearment here and much appreciated.

    Living up north, I considered "ma'am" and "honey" and "sweetie" total insults. Once I moved down south, I realized "welp, better get used to it". Now it doesn't bother me. I guess it's all in the perspective
