My friend's little girl eats it on bread with strawberry jelly and those miniature marshmallows you put in hot chocolate. I haven't tried it yet because I'm afraid I would never eat anything else again. It's so addictive for me. I also have to buy the little single serving packs.

I don't buy it. That's how I put on all my weight: peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches after every meal, for snack and before bed (that and Reese's; I guess I have a chocolate-plus-peanut butter thing).

I avoid sweets like the plague and I don't crave them. One taste and it's all downhill.

apparently, Nutella makes a knife specifically to fit all of it's ridges that hold the last of the goodness. Saves you from looking like a maniac trying to wedge your finger in the crevasses of the container to get the final tiny bit.

Like so many others, I have zero self control with nutella. As a result I can no longer allow myself to buy it lest I relapse.

 Nutella is amazing, I haven't opened my latest jar yet, because I know the concequences all too well :blushing:
  • Instead of using the full 2 TBSP of Nutella use about 3/4 of TBSP of Nutella and 1 1/4 TBSP of Peanut Butter. It's like a Reese cup on bread. You are also getting your Nutella fix, but without the full calories and sugar of Nutella

I bought a 13 oz jar of Nutella today because I was bored with peanut butter. And it's UNBELIEVABLY YUMMY.

Made 5 sandwiches and ate the rest with a spoon straight out of the jar.

Question : How do you handle Nutella?

    Good morning Sir,

In discovering Nutella, you have also found what is quite a slippery slope. First it starts with a little on a cracker. Then, you're incorporating into dessert dishes. For awhile you like to delude yourself into thinking it's a special treat by serving hundreds of grams to yourself in nice ceramic ramekins and garnished highball glasses. The next thing you know, you're in an alley somewhere doing something you never thought you'd do just to buy another jar.

Stop now, while there's still time.

    Sincerely,
    The Internet

    Best post I've ever read.

    Is this the real life?
    Is this just fantasy?
    Caught in a landslide,
    No escape from reality.

    Open your eyes,
Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go,
    Little high, little low,
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me.

    Mama, just killed a man,
Put a gun against his head,
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead.
    Mama, life had just begun,
But now I've gone and thrown it all away.

    Mama, ooh,
Didn't mean to make you cry,
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow,
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters.

Too late, my time has come,
    Sent shivers down my spine,
    Body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go,
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth.

Mama, ooh (any way the wind blows),
    I don't wanna die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all.

I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
    Thunderbolt and lightning,
    Very, very frightening me.
    (Galileo) Galileo.
    (Galileo) Galileo,
    Galileo Figaro
    Magnifico.

I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me.
He's just a poor boy from a poor family,
Spare him his life from this monstrosity.

Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go.
(Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go.
(Let him go!) Bismillah! We will not let you go.
(Let me go) Will not let you go.
(Let me go) Will not let you go.
(Never, never, never let me go) Ah.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
(Oh, mama mia, mama mia) Mama mia, let me go.
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me.

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?
So you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby,
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here.

    (Oh, yeah, oh yeah)

    Nothing really matters,
    Anyone can see,
    Nothing really matters,
    Nothing really matters to me.

    Any way the wind blows.

You win the internet and life.
I was waiting to see this in here and was not disappointed \m/

It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title, but then I got sucked down into the chocolate vortex...

I swear I'm going to get hate mail for this but, I don't particularly care for nutella. Although in general I don't like hazelnuts and I prefer just straight up chocolate. I wouldn't say no to a nutella dessert but I don't actively search them out :P

I understand that you little guys start out with your peanut butter and you think it's great... and it is, it is terrific. But pretty soon, peanut butter isn't enough. You're out on the street trying to score Cookie Spread, or maybe Biscoff. And the next thing you know, you're strung out on Nutella, Ken. That's serious.

Meh. IMO, over rated. Much prefer milk chocolate smeared with peanut butter.

    DON'T DO IT!

Nutella will take everything you are and leave you a trembling shell.

I tend to handle Nutella pretty much the way you've described...therefore I don't buy it. ;)

It is delicious, but not addicting to me! I use only half or one tablespoon between toast and thats about it.I mix almond butter from whole foods with it and its yummy! But i dont see myself addicted to it.
