I love working out, I go to the gym with my hubby, but we work out separately. Why because I like having him there but we do our own routines.0

alone in a moderately busy gym.
...spotters.0 -
Weightlifting alone because I make embarrassing noises. Everything else with someone because I am competitive so it drives me0
-
Alone. Most of the time I'm the only one even at my gym. I don't really even care, cause I put on my headphones and ignore everyone anyway. But I'm not a good gym buddy. I'm super competitive and yell at bad form.

It depends. If I'm on a time crunch I like to just get in there, pick up heavy stuff and then get out. But I've brought friends to my gym before and loved it, so it depends on my mood.0

How is this not a good gym buddy? Sounds awesome!0 -
I love to work out, get cranky when I dont. Now that my wife is home I hope she will continue to go with me, if not I will do my own thing.0
-
By myself. I'm in my zone and I don't need other people getting in my way.0
-
I wish I had a workout buddy sometimes but I do like working out alone. I can take my time and do what I want.0
-
Alone. There are too many people that just want to stand around and talk instead of working out. I don't have a lot of available time to spend at the gym, so I try to make the most of it.0

I was going with my sister. We would chit chat while doing cardio but go our seperate ways on our routines.
For a month I have been going alone and I liked it.. but now I want some company lol0 -
Right now I work out alone, but have had someone to work out with in the past.....
I am self motivated, so I can go either way......
But a workout buddy can get you motivated on days where you feel like half-assing it.0 -

But we would have to do weights....not just cardio0 -
I'm not picky. I have done both. Lately I prefer to workout by myself, except for when I need a spotter.0

Alone... working out is all about me.0

Alone. My friends only like doing cardio and I don't hardly (ever) do that, and they don't like weights0
-
With someone, extra motivation on those days you can't be bothered and helps you push past your limits0

shame on them
I am glad you pick up the weights girl.
You look good. :flowerforyou:0 -

...spotters.
this. i like having people available to spot, but if i work out with a friend we wind up chit chatting and it sorta kills my flow.
i used to lift with a buddy in college and our sessions would take twice as long as needed because we were talking and laughing the whole time.
run with a friend, lift alone.0 -

Lol that's not all I do!
I would prefer you show me some things with the weights anyways0 -
I just recently started working out with my brother.. I enjoy it. We play basketball or some other games/cardio and then do our separate routines. Usually though I go by myself. I like it that way... it's my time alone and I can concentrate and focus on me0

With several people. I love group workouts. Quite frankly, doing martial arts its almost impossible to hold your own pads.
In addition, I like the group setting for every workout. I find it more motivating to be with friends who actually push each other.0 -
Alone, I put on headphones and go for it. Music keeps me going and i get into work out.0
-
I go alone mainly, my co-worker wants to start going with me so I can teach her some lifting things. I'm not sure how that will go lol. The boyfriend has never seen me train, as in lift weights or any of the plyo stuff I do but he has been with me at races ect.0

I always work out on my, I do enjoy just being by myself, switched off to the world with my headphones in. And sometimes I just need to visit the gym for that stress relief and get away from everyone/thing.
Saying this, I would quite like to have a training partner some days as I think I would be able to push myself harder with the help of a spotter.0 -

I used to go with my neice all the time, then she got a part time job and was finishing college. Soooo I made friends with one of the regs (female) so now, sometimes we hop on cardio machines next to each other and shoot the breeze, then we go our own ways for our routines I like it either way.0 -
At home, usually alone. My husband has collected pretty much every piece of fitness equipment a person could possibly want in our basement, for which I am very grateful because I hate working out with an audience. We have a treadmill, a rower, lots of weights and lifting equipment, and (most importantly) a TV. Of course, I wouldn't mind if he were working out at the same time but our schedules rarely come together that way.0

When I run i get to eat more !0
-
I like to work out alone at home and I walk / run with a buddy...there is way to many creeps at the park to be alone.0
-
I prefer alone, but don't mind if there's someone else to lift with.
And I LOVE when I get to run with my 2 daughters....it just rarely happens.0
