    Trying to be a lot more active. Started a new job and finishing grad school. Looking for workouts that are quick and effective that can fit into a tight schedule. Not giving up foods, just cutting back on portions.

    highest weight was around 215 (207.8 when I started my WLJ). Runner, rock climber, yoga-attempter. :) Doc wants me to attempt a gluten free, dairy free diet. Anyone also attempting these diet goals would be a huge help to me!! (also don't eat soy products or red meat/pork).

    Hello! I'm 24 years old and looking for a buddy with a similar situation who can help motivate me!

    I'd really like to talk to other people who are trying to lose weight while trying to manage chronic health issues. I'd also like to talk to others who struggle to/have found out how to put themselves first and keep their weight loss journey going despite feeling like it isn't the most important thing at times.
    Other than that, I really like learning new languages, cooking and reading. I have 3 cats (3 is a lot of cats, I know). I'm most definitely a cat person, even though I didn't expect to house that many!

    I lead a pretty sedentary lifestyle currently
    I have three children 9,8 and 3
    I am single and feel awful about the current
    status of my body
    I just started mfp today, signed up years ago but it
    didn't last :(
    I would like to start exercising and making sure i eat VERY simply
    I use to have a pretty figure but i was never fit
    this time i would like to be both
    eventually i would like to feel confident enough
    to start dating again (maybe)

    Work full time and on feet all day.was just recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and on meds. Current workouts include 6-8in step & walking.     I'm Korean-American married mother of 3 and am currently a stay-at-home mom until my youngest is old enough to start preschool.

    I struggle with emotional eating and snacking - the two things that sabotage my progress!

    I work out about 3-4 times a week although I would like to do so daily. I walk, bike, go ice skating, do yoga and karate. I would love to become stronger so I can do these activities better (especially ice skating - very hard to do it well if you're not strong).
