I love a ciabatta. LOVE IT. But I'm pretty inclusive when it comes to bread love.

At a job I had many years ago a coworker and I would go and get a couple of baguettes and a big piece of cheese sometimes for lunch. On the best days we'd get cheese that was so good it would run everyone else out of the breakroom. .....mmmmmm stinky cheese and crusty bread...... mmmmm

Normally I'd agree with you - it's usually pretty dry, but this Irish pub near me has the best damn soda bread I've ever tasted. Moist and fluffy - not the dry little bricks it normally tastes like.

Usually it's whole grain wheat for me (I look for the Whole Grain Council logo to make sure it's really whole grain).

I do enjoy the occasional slice of zucchini bread too for a healthy treat.
  • I'm not sure you can get it outside the UK. We keep it to ourselves :glasses:

Edited after checking Wikipedia: Tiger bread (also sold as Dutch crunch in the USA, tijgerbrood or tijgerbol in Netherlands) is the commercial name for a loaf of bread which has a unique mottled crust.

I LOVE tiger bread! All bread. But when I cut it out/down I'm so glad I don't crave it and go nuts and binge. It's a treat for me :)

No, Sophie wasn't Jewish in the movie or the book. But Challah is an awesome bread, however trying to make a really great one at home that is really soft is ...almost impossible. And ones from most bakeries are awful as well.

Oh NOTHING. Nothing at all. I was just surprised to hear that much information from someone I barely knew.

I love every bread I have ever tried.
I think it would be easier to say my least favourite- German black bread. Having said that, I wouldn't turn it down!

A good fresh Naan is hard to beat, but homemade bread with white flour and a drizzle of olive oil through it and a salt crust is great too.
I just can't choose. Why are the questions so hard on here??

Oh My as bad as an alcoholic when it comes to bread especially if it comes from one of those nice mom and pops bakeries. I have been really good avoiding it though. Love the sourdough and ancient grains.

I haven't met a bread that I didn't like. However, sourdough is my most favorite. The BEST sourdough comes from the San Francisco bay area!

    Just kidding.

    What's your favorite bread?

    Mine is sourdough..

OMG! yes I love Sourdough. I went to Denny's last week, I always order sourdough toast there. I was sad, they took sourdough off the menu  I had to settle for plain ol' wheat tost.:brokenheart:
