Yes! That is a perfect example of a fitness tip that is BS. Good work. :flowerforyou:0 -
must eat every 3hours
must have breakfast
must have protein shake (not food) withing 30mins of finishing workout of pointless
don't train for longer than 45mins or you will be catabolic and muscles will fall off
don't eat C&F together
don't eat simple sugars, except PWO when you need the insulin spike
cardio will make your muscles fall off
you can gain muscle without fat if you stick to "clean" foods
diet food/drinks make you fat and give you cancer
low fat foods are chemical **** storms and the added sugar makes you fat
xxxxxx food cannot be part of a healthy diet (except hydrogenated trans fat)
saturated fat will give you heart disease
another guy said he will ONLY eat in a calorie surplus if only eating P&F
you can gain muscle and lose fat at the same time if you eat these specific foods (not noobie, muscle memory or on gear)
juicing is a great sustainable diet for weight loss
you HAVE to use adjustable free weights to maintain LBM while dieting
.8g/kg of BW for protein is enough
simple sugars are bad and make you fat (bloody insulin)
should only eat low gi carbs (despite the fact that many low gi foods have a higher insulin response than high gi foods)
fruit is bad because it has too much sugar
80/10/10 diet (possibly the dumbest idea yet)
vegetarians can't get adequate protein
And I'm sure there are more.0 -
Certain foods are "fat-burners", as if you can eat a dozen donuts as long as you chase them down with grapefruit juice or one of the magic fat-burner foods.0

I imagine that depends on the person. My mom's quite sensitive and if they swap the decaf tea for real stuff, she's in the bathroom 10 minutes later.

Tea doesn't count as drinking water but you can add lemon to your water to make it taste better.
I always imagine people who think like that as also wondering where bread disappears to when you put it in the toaster.
