What are your weight gain weaknesses?

  • One word: bread

If everything didn't naturally come with a side of bread I might be okay!! But, I love toast in the morning.... if you have a sandwich a lunch, bread, and any nice dinner... spaghetti, roast, steak.... basically begs for rolls or breadsticks or toast

    ...friggin bread....
  • Anything with Dairy in it. Savoury or sweet.. I just can't help my self. From 4 cheese Lasagna's to Caramel flan, if you put the stuff in front of me ill just eat and eat and eat. I've broken so many diets in the past because I decided to give into temptation and overindulge in something rich and creamy/cheesy. Just talking about my weakness is making me hungry for a grilled cheese sandwich. Alas, if I want to reach my weight loss goals, I have to cut thoughts like that out.

I could say the same but don't consider it a weakness. ;)

Wine, however, could be a weakness....

Now the wine I don't consider a weakness.....because it goes so well with the cheese

I am a complete carb fiend. I can't buy bread because I'll eat the whole loaf in two days if I allow myself to.

That and the complete lack of control I have when I drink - I always end up down the chippy after a night out. Cheesy chips drowned in ketchup is my weakness.

    My big three weaknesses are:

1.- Staying up too late and then
    2.- Wanting some bourbon
    3.- And snacking

    There...I confessed.

    Are you, literally, me?

    1. restaurant meals
    2. dessert/sweets
    3. condiments. I pretty much have this under control and use them sparingly, but I shudder to think how many calories I could save by giving up many mayo-based sauces and dressings. Easily 70-100 cal/day.

Anything cold and creamy....ice cream, cheesecake, rice pudding.

Carbs - toast, granola bars, cereal - all too easy to fix when I don't feel like cooking.

Food, mostly. All of the food.

    Too true.

Especially if it involves nachos and salsa with broiled cheese.

In fact, cheese. In the end, we all give in to cheese.
  • I have a lot of them, but my main ones are
1.-Little Debbie Cakes (ALL OF THEM!)
3.- Seeing my hubby and kids snacking
    3. No support (i.e no friends close by who are trying to losing weight and will hold me accountable)
