    I'm 5'7" with a small frame. I'm currently at 121. Probably should gain around 5 pounds or so.

    A healthy BMI is somewhere between18.5 and 25 (according to UK NHS). For a 5'8 woman this is about 55 - 74.5 kg (121 - 164 lbs). I read somewhere (sorry, can't remember where) that most of the health benefits of being a healthy weight are best between around BMI 20 - 22.5, i.e. about 59.5 - 67 kg (131 - 147 lbs).

    I'm 5'8. My initial personal goal is 70 kg (154 lbs), which equates to a BMI of ~23.5. This is a healthy weight, and was the weight I was when I was an undergrad. I will be seeing how I look when I reach 70 kg, and see if I can lose a bit more to get below that magic BMI 22.5 number without being too skinny - all these numbers are based on an average across the population and depend on build & BF % to get to the "right" number for an individual person.

    Awesome replies! I'm trying to get BACK down to 123-125, my pre-college days where I was thin and happy with my body. 10 lbs to go! Ugh hate the stomach bulge. Weird how 10 pounds can change your body.

    I have an athletic/muscular frame, and my goal weight is 135-140. I find thats where I perform best and am happiest with my body! I still have curves, but not a lot of visible fat in that range.

    I am 5'8" and 148 with lean muscle. I love the way I look now, but would like to be 135 with 10-15% body fat.

    My initial goal (by March 6th) is 125 lbs. Since I'm trying to build muscle, however, that's not reasonable in the long term. It'll probably be closer to 130 when I'm lifting heavily.

    It's really more about measurements for me though - I'd rather be 36 - 26- 37 and 130 lbs than 34 - 27 - 38 and 125 lbs, you know? :)

    I've been as low as 140, but I don't want to be that thin again.

    I'm 5'7 and I feel pretty great at 155! I am pretty muscular and have big boobs though (did you know those things can weigh a ton!?) I think it definitely depends on the individual.

    Me too! I wonder if they allow for that in the weight charts. Maybe I don't have to lose as much as I thought.

    I'm 5'8". I have a larger frame and I have a very curvy figure. Strong hourglass, big chest, big bum. I'd love to get back to my Volleyball weight which was 160. Right now that is my goal. I may re-evaluate once I get there though. I always wondered what 150 would look like. But if I go lower than that, I will look like Skeletor.

    I'm 5'8" and the lowest I got was 139. I loved it but was really hard to maintain. I call it my "summer weight". :) Right now I'm around 147-148 and still trying to get rid of those holiday lbs.

    I am 5'8" and currently maitaining at 140. I will be 40 in a few weeks and 140 is feeling really good. Back in my 20's I was around the 130's, if the scale gets down there again...that would be great, but I am not going to force it. My focus now is just continuing to tone and if the scale drops a little that would be great...if not I am happy where I am.

    5'8". CW 155 GW 135 prob on the low side for me but my plan is to get there and then see where I land eating at maintence...my guess is 140 is more realistic to maintain....

    I started at 163, got down to 141 and felt too thin, so I gained back a few. Have been around 144 and feel this is a good weight for me. I always thought I was large frame, but have never used a "frame calculator". Going to look for one now.

    I'm working toward a muscular 145-150 down from 206. At one point I was 125-130 and that was just way too thin for my frame.
