Remind us again how many days per year it snows there? 'Cause now I kinda wanna move there...

It depends on whether you're in the Valley or in the mountains. It starts snowing in the Valley November (think white Christmas every year) and ends in March/April. In the mountains the weather can get crazy. Expect snow to start in September but to actually stick starting in October. It will end in April/May but snow in the mountains in June happens every few years. Keep in mind the mountains are 8,000 to 12,000 thousand feet and the valley is 3,000 feet. Huge weather difference between the valley and the mountains.

Stopped to help a guy with a flat tire on my way to work. Really had to hoof it to get to work on time after that.

Took a module class this week, that is a 3-credit class that would normally be spread over 16 weeks. Great class, but dang I'm tired.

Finally re-upped my membership at the 24-hr gym that I love. Here's to finally making progress again! I missed that place!

Way to go Jennifer. It's hard to get back at things after what you are going through. Hope it helps with the stress.

I had something of a "come-to-Jesus" moment about my weight a few days ago, and I realized it's really, really time to get back to it.

I've got a lot of stuff going on at home and I can see my weight creeping up but I seem to be powerless to stop it. I'm stress eating like crazy. I still ride my bike. I put in 100 miles last week. That still doesn't counter what I'm shoving in my mouth. :frowning:

Amen Bethanie. When I'm tired, carbs are my woobie blanket.

Between hail storms and daughter meltdowns, sleep was elusive. It's going to be a long night filled with carbs and caffeine.

Carbs and caffeine sound awesome, tbh.

I think that should be the name of a Rock band.

I solved the stupidest mystery ever tonight. I've been wondering why my elbows have been so dry and chapped for the last several weeks. When I was driving home from the gym, after practicing throwing elbows at the heavy bag, it suddenly occurred to me.... derp.

Yep. That would do it. Catch 22. Put lotion on and the skin isn't as tough. Don't put lotion on and the elbow look like lizard flesh.

I'd go see Woobie Blanket at some big arena and dance my face off in front of the stage! hahaha

    What? That's a band?

Not that I know of.... but that would be a neat name for a band, especially if it was a Thrash Metal band (ironic use, of course)

Let start a band! We'll call it "Woobie Blanket," and dance our own faces off, 'cause it's really unlikely anyone else will come see us play.

I’d see you guys play! So is this still a bunch of nightshifters?
