    I am jumping in mid month. This group and its accountability helped me incredibly in the past. I will weigh in and post tomorrow.

    Yahoo! I started at 219. I hit the 5 lb. loss mark today! :happy: But, I made my goal for this challenge 212. Frankly, I'd like to lose 10 for the month and make it 209. So no celebratory calories. No resting on my laurels. Counting the calories, logging in my diary, and going to the gym! I am going out of town for a birthday party this weekend and it will be a dangerous place! All sorts of caloric pitfalls and no place to exercise (staying in a B&B, not a hotel with an exercise room). I might have to try to do a little with some youtube exercise videos or something. Any ideas? Right now I walk and ride the stationary bike at the gym. Anyone use those Leslie Sansone Videos?

    Reply to lavenderbud: What is the rush? You admitted that you didn't lose at 1200 because you cheated, not because it was too many calories. Isn't it better to give yourself those 300 calories everyday than to try to stay at an unhealthy 900? The thinner and smaller you are, the harder it is to lose 2 lbs a week. What were the recommendations and weight loss projection from MFP when you filled out your profile? How many calories did they suggest and how much did they say you would lose in a week? How much exercise are you doing? I would think if you want to lose faster, you would be better to up the activity and stick with the 1200 calories. Heck even at my weight of 214, height of 212, with exercise and sticking to my 1200, I'm only projected to lose 1.3 pounds a week. I've done better than that but that may not last. As long as the scale goes down, I'll be happy.

    Just up and down a couple of tenths. Can't seem to get off 183. Maybe when this weather breaks and I can get out more. I'm not worried about it I've lost 40lbs so far. So as long as I'm not gaining, I'm maintaining & I'm happy. :wink:

    Congrats to all those that lost and It'll get better to all those me included that stayed the same or gained. We're in this for the long haul. Happy Logging everyone. :drinker:

    I'm trying to stick to 1300 cal/day and exercise daily. So far this week, I have managed to lose my vacation weight. It's been a good week, as I haven't had any alcohol. Also my husband is on board with me, tracking calories and working out, it helps immensely!

    Posting early because I went to the Dr. and was weighed on the good scale. Not too happy, not really sure how I gained this much in just a few days. Now my thyroid levels are being tested :(

    Weighed in today (Friday) instead, bit busy tomorrow, and to be honest it's Valentines Day today, so I'm probably going to gain just a tad and I don't want it to de-motivate me.

    I'm doing kilos not pounds because we're on the metric system where I live, and imperial is too confusing to me as I count in metric (Sorry my fellow Americans, I can see how metric is confusing to you! haha)

    SW: 92
    CW: 88 (Gained a kilo since my last weigh in in December, but that was before the silly season so not bad considering how bad I've been)
    GW: 65 kilos realistically, 60 kilos maybe once I get there.

    Eh, I give up on my original goal for the month. I'm going to just do my best. My weight has been fluctuating, and this week I haven't been eating the best or exercising as much as I'd like.

    Going to give it my all next week (This is NOT giving up until next week. I still plan to exercise lightly and stick to my limit) and see the difference when I put more effort into my weight loss.

    Woot! It's working :) 2lbs down already. Trying to remember to log in for this challenge is helping to keep healthy thinking in my head even at that dangerous after dinner time. I'm swapping snacks I don't really want for mint tea instead - worth a try if you have the same problem, making it a hot drink seems to help it feel like more without taking on unnecessary calories.
