Yes, it counts. Especially if you go to conventions and cosplay. I'm going to Naka-kon in March and I'm making an Erza Scarlet costume.

I'm a programmer by trade, and last week I played a game which centered around moving little miniatures of Star Wars ships around on a 3' x 3' felt starfield while the Imperial March played on someone's Macbook. Can anyone top that?
